Nah, I don't think he's being conceited . . . just very creative in order to spark the interest of others. Hey, it worked, didn't it?

Awe, thank you, Keith! You know, I forgot about your avatar. IMO, I believe its a tie between your little girl and the penguins. She's just precious. :classic:

Awe, thank you, Rick! I love the penguins also! Someone e-mailed that clip to me a while back, and I was LMAO!
  4. You're welcome. Did that cover everything you were looking for?

I absolutely agree with you Mike. I bought my 80 280ZX off of Ebay. For the price I was paying for the car, it just wasn't worth it to me to pay for a flight to look at the car in another state, in addition to having it hauled on a carrier to my house, so I took a chance. The ad read "runs, very minor rust". Well, it has a blown gead gasket, the oil is gray and lumpy, and the frame is completely rusted, to the point that jack stands push right through it. I only paid $600 for it though, so I'm not worried about it. I can get that back from selling the parts once I finish stripping it (also has brand new tires and nice stock wheels). Anyway, that's my Ebay story.
  6. Yes, the Z32 began production in Feb., 1989 and was introduced in the U.S. in late '89 as a '90 model. You guys do get everything before we do, don't ya, Justin? Here's the info. I have on the Z32: Specs., More Specs., Serial #'s, VIN ID, FAQ, ECCS Codes,Technical Data for SMC/SM2 ECU
  7. Hmmm . . . I've never heard of an 89 TT. Did you mean a Z31T (84-89) or a Z32TT (90-96), or did Australia get something we didn't? You guys seem to have everything over there. I can shoot you a link for the specs. on both, if you want. I'm not sure what your referring to as a "bin file" though -- never heard that before. Is that the VIN/production info.?
  8. Awe, thank you, Rick. And, Brandon, it does becomes addictive after you buy your first Z, doesn't it? Why stop at just one? You can never have too many Z's . . . unless, of course, you run out of space to park them (and I believe I've about reached my max. capacity).

This is a great web-site to locate used parts: http://www.used-auto-parts.net/advSearch.htm Over the years, I have accumulated a lot of links for numerous aftermarket parts and accessories for Z's, but it would take a loooong time to compile them for everyone. If anyone is looking for a particular, post up, and I'll be glad to reply with a link, if I have one.
  10. Awe, thank you, PrOxLaMuS©!

The only difference that comes to mind is that the 73 came with the flat-top Hitachi carburetors, which can be very troublesome and are prone to catch on fire. The stock 70-72 models have the round-top SU's. If you get a 73, you can install the round-top SU's on it, with the proper linkage, if you want. I'm in the process of doing that myself.

Awe . . . I'm sure your 4-legged girl doesn't mind having her head kissed.

    Hahahaha . . . here's another to add to that topic: http://www.student.smsu.edu/s/san232s/hardfunnypics/everythinglearnedfastfurious.jpg
  15. Just fine, thanks!
  16. Awe . . . . HI, Dero! :cheeky:
  17. Oh, yeah, Hercules is HUGE. Nah, I'm going to strip the 2+2 as soon as I get good title to the car (abandoned motor vehicle). Actually, I rent a mid-size car every year at Christmas time to visit my family, just so I can fit the dogs and gifts in it. :classic: Any other time, Brittney (Golden) sits in the passenger's seat, and Hercules invades the entire rear cargo area. After I buy my last Z, a 280Z for race conversion (Last Z purchase? Yeah, who am I kidding?), I'm planning on buying an SUV -- need it bad.
  18. Awe, you have a wittle bitty doggie. Those are so cute. (Psst, we need a winkie smilie -- :cheeky:).
  19. Hahahaha . . . who, the guys on here, or my dogs? I have a Spanish Water Dog (similar to an OES, but weighs about 93 lbs.), who is definitely the alpha, and a Golden Retriever.
  20. Awe, actually I have more S130's than anything else (hmmm, no winkie smilie? ). I did have 3 S30's, but one was totalled, one was parted out, and the other I sold to another Z enthusiast. Awe, that's a precious doggie in your avatar. Is he/she yours? I have two huge "hairy kids" myself.
  21. Hahahaha! You guys are cracking me up. Yes, Rick, that's me in the avatar. And, not to worry, Brandon, I'm not offended, or afraid to post. (I'm a moderator on another Z forum, so I'm use to it. :classic:).
