  1. my 2 cents... i went with black undercoating because i am more worried about keeping the metal from rusting. if you can keep the water out.........
  2. new cover for the spare tire. 1/4" masonite (tempered hardboard) from slum-depot. about $13 for a 4x8' sheet. also got the license plate light housing fixed and installed. trying to finish up all the small stuff while im waiting on parts
  3. here is a close-up of the bracket t
  4. no, that would make you the shell answer man
  5. print shops dont charge that much. i had a 24" x 36" page of the wiring schematic printed for about $3. download to a memory car and they can print it for you
  6. im sure it would be illegal, and a federal crime on top of that. no good deed goes un-punished
  7. that pump looks kind of low.
  8. i think thats a torino? not a challenger
  9. Zed, you can get resistor or non-resistor cut-to-fit wires at summit. these are what i got since i have a radio https://www.summitracing.com/parts/tay-73055/overview/ and the crimper, which works very well https://www.summitracing.com/parts/msd-3503
  10. thanks. basically, i made an angle with a hole in the short side that the valve cover bolt goes through, then i zip tied the separators to the angle. the angles are maybe 3" on the long side, 1" on the short side and 3/4" wide
  11. new plug wires (3rd set ) i like the routing better than over the valve cover. i made some brackets out of aluminum and used zip ties to hold the wires in place
  12. i figured out the problem there. when i pulled the distributor apart to grease the centrifugal advance, i installed the part the rotor sits on 180* off. very easy to do
  13. its funny that i dont have to get any testing down here. just pay my $86 and show proof of insurance
  14. just so you know, when you first fire that up, the header wrap will smoke like a train.
  15. i dont know how the us dollar measures against your currency, but iirc, i paid about $30 for a container of guide coat. i used 1 and had too buy a second, but still have most of the second left.
  16. the guide coat is a work saver. it is kind of spendy, but worth it. saves alot of time
  17. just out of curiosity, how do you change the battery?
  18. i hadn't though of ohming the plugs. ill check them just for grins and post the results. my friend did mention something about increased resistance with the "fine wire" type of plug
  19. i have a buddy that drag races. he has been spot-on all these years so i tend to listen to his advice. he told me that the plugs would work fine with a msd type ignition system.
