  5. so most of the aftermarket wheel center caps i have seen wont fit over the front hub covers, as was the case with my set of rota wheels. after searching for a set of deeper caps, and finding nothing that came close, here are a few pics of my cheap fix. rear wheel with the center cap. silver cap with a black center front hub with the msa cap powder coated and installed. doesnt look too bad, but the wheel cap wont fit here is my jig for centering and drilling the front wheel caps. the wheel caps are right at 2 1/2" od at the outer edge, and get bigger towards the wheel. so, i drilled a 2 1/2" hole, about 1/2" deep in a piece of 2x6 and chiseled out the wood leaving a hole with a pilot hole. this allowed the cap to center tightly in the hole drop the cap in the hole, and drill the cap with a 1 3/4" holesaw. end result is a centered hole that will fit over the hub
  6. a hole saw works very well for this, not that expensive either
  7. i would clean that cam with some steel wool and give it a try. i have a cam in an old dodge power wagon that looked worse then that, still running fine since 2001
  8. im curious as to why you have 2 brake distribution blocks?
  9. 1. acetone will not dissolve or loosen rust. it is mostly for thinning-cleaning paints and epoxy's etc. muratic acid will clean the rust. 2. redkote needs about 5-6 days to cure, depending on the temperature. if you can smell it, it isnt cured. 3-4 days doesnt seem long enough 3. did you clean out all the lines coming out of the tank? did you blow air through them after doing the redkote? they may be plugged worse now

  13. your factory panels are much nicer than the new aftermarket ones i just bought
  14. i see them as a blessing. i caught 2 this year. they are actually very docile when they swarm
  15. how much of the bolt is sticking out of the head? this is something to go slow and careful with. if you break the bolt off at the block..............
  16. have you had the entire system bled? you say the shoes were toast, what was wrong with them?
  17. 2 deep frames, almost a gallon of honey! still have 28 frames to go it has been a good year!
  18. no, positive offset moves the wheel in, towards the brake drum. negative offset moves the wheel out towards the fender http://www.wheelpros.com/page/offset-explained/9
  19. i have 16x8 0 offset with 225-50-16 and the car is lowered about 1" no rubbing yet after about 125 miles
  20. wild thought. would a plugged gas cap vent cause this problem? gas cap not letting air into the tank?
  21. i am not a big fan of led's, but those are defiantly cool
