I do my very best to represent the items that I'm selling accurately. However, I do not know exactly what every part looked like new, so if you want to know more about a part or see a specific place on the part, PLEASE just ask! I have nothing to hide. Also, I wanted to clarrify something. I was just informed that my 1971 is not a Series 1 car, as I believe the manufactured date is either 8/71 or 9/71. I will have to double check.

Both turn signal switches and headlight switch are SPF! Planning to put prices on some things shortly, as I've been getting quite a few low ball offers.

6-piece interior vinyl set in great condition! Interior rocker panel vinyl in great shape. Column cover in great shape, with just one of the pegs broken. 1st set of tail lights in very good shape with the harnesses. Turn signals in great shape. 2nd set of tail lights with harnesses, with right side having a few cracks. Fuse box seems to be in good shape. The other one I have is connected to the dash. Column turn signal. Steering column switches and turn signal.

Console is sold! Took some detailed pictures today of things that people have asked about. Pictures to come!

One tail light does, the others so not. They are all pretty solid, though.

Hey guys. I am selling my 1971 Datsun 240Z for parts. I don't have time to price everything, but I want to make some money and get this stuff into the hands of someone that needs it! The engine seems to operate quite smoothly and the transmission works as well, although I have never driven it on the road to go through all the gears that way. Pretty much everything is stripped off of the car, except for the engine and transmission, so I have done the hard work. Well guys, it has been a while since I have updated this thread. I have made a decision that probably won't shock most of you. I have decided to sell this Z as is or parted out. Honestly, I just do not have the time or money to pour into it. I have taken a ton of pictures and will post a sale thread sometime soon. I know I can make money on this if I find the right buyers, as I have some nice parts! Thank you guys for the support you have given me. I cannot wait till I am able to buy another Z that is road worthy!

Got the windshield out and all the wires disconnected. The engine pull is soon to come, and the headliner still needs to come out.

Thank you for your thoughtful reply! I recently did some heavy sanding and some sandblasting on one side to truly see what I was dealing with. Here are a few pictures... Only today did I come to the realization that this is truly a goner, although I still don't want to put it down. I am going to sell parts to make some money and hopefully fund an actual build. The money will also help me buy some needed things for my Jeep. Been kind of down all day. I can only pray that someday soon I find a better chassis to actually make road worthy!

Yeah... It sucks. Oh well. So, how in the world do you get off that thick layer that covers the tunnel and rear inside the body?

Thank you guys. I am trying to be realistic. I come from the thinking that all things CAN be fixed with the proper drive, time, skills and funds. I know this doesn't make it always wise to do so, but still. Like you guys said, it will be a great learning experience, which is what I want!! I love this stuff, and i am just now figuring out that I want to work on, with and around cars for a living! Also, just got through at the DMV trying to get a title. I have to send some paperwork to Richmond to find some info on the car along with $85, as there was no record of the car's VIN.
