I have been told that my rear window defroster is a bad circuit and needs to be replaced. What has everyone else been doing about this problem? Does anyone else have this problem? It's a 72. Thanks Scott
  2. I have K&N's on my triples. I know that doesn't really pertain since you have SU's but the site was telling me that I should post somthing or engage in a conversation with someone so there it is. I have seen the K&Ns for SU's though and I really liked them. Had I stayed with SU's I would have gotten them. Scott I have a ITG filter on my Roadster, but those are also Mikunis.

RBMotoring also imports new Skylines. As far as I know they are stillin business and able to import. Their webiste says that they are also working on bringing in Silvias. They might be able to take a request for an older car. Scott
  4. Thanks for the responses, but am i correct then that it will keep the current going one way only or am I still misinformed? Thanks Again, Scott
  5. If I remember correctly when everyone was talking about the switch to an internally regulated alternator somebody mentioned that the diode prevents power from traveling back through the wire? Are there different sizes or ratings? What would be best for automotive light wiring? Thanks in advance. Scott
  6. Just kind of curious why you would use a 280 exhaust manifold? Unless you were going turbo and used the turbo one? Scott

I thought that 280's had internally regulated alternators. So I don't think that you have one in your engine compartment, it should be under the black cap on the alternator. I could be wrong though. Scott
  8. Jack, It's an Alpine SEC-100S. I have a 150R too, but I think the only difference is the radar. Thanks for the help. Scott
  9. Jack, Thanks for the diagram. The wire from the alarm, would that be the same as the single wire for the trunk and engine bay switch? Does the relay need a constant connection? I know that some of the extensions from the alarm will produce a pulse, or short burst. Thanks again Scott
  10. Jack, Could you go into a little detail on how you would wire a remote swith to an electric fuel pump? I have an Alpine alarm on my Z and a Holley Fule pump. I'm kind of curious. I also have a Grant steering wheel with the removable/locking quick release hub. If anyone has any questions about something like that let me know. Thanks Scott
  11. I'll be there also with my Roadster. It's the one in my avatar. Stop by if you get a chance, I'd like to some of you guys. My plate says "GUMZ 2K" Scott
  12. Those mirrors are supposedly "JDM" mirrors. I don't know for sure and I don't have any info to support it, I just saw them listed for sale before as "JDM". They are the same mirrors I have on my '69 Roadster, they are supposed to be mounted on the fenders though. I can't seem to adjust them enough so that I can actually see anything with them. They were moutned by the PO. Can you use the mirrors? I can't see crap with them. Scott
  13. Nice wheels, they look awesome. Here I was jazzed about my Rikens I just put on, now I'm depressed again. Thanks a lot. j/k Scott
  14. Isn't this the same spoiler that Classic Datsun sells? Has anyone had any problems with their's? Scott
  15. Sorry, forgot to mention that. I've got a filter between the tank and the pump, and one filter on each line running into the T's. Scott
  16. You might want to check on when you bought the header though, I know that at some point MSA stopped using Jet Hot and started using a comparable company due to cost. Scott
  17. Sounds like almost the same setup as mine, except; Holley red pump, holley regulator, two lines to T's between carbs, number 3 carb has line plumbed to stock return line. I'm running about 4psi on triple 44 Solexs. Runs fine, I have a little bit of bogging on the bottom end, but I think that is just tuning. I could probably use a cam also. I think carb size will also have a big effect on how well it runs along with motor and head work. Scott
  18. Did those upright mounts for the rear come with the kit? I currently have a fuel pump mounted to that piece, does anyone think that it will get in the way of a swaybar? Thanks Scott

Sorry Victor, just a little jealous. Not only do your cars look better than mine, you got a picture of them to boot.

Sorry to jump into a private post, but that is awesome. Couple of changes and they could be my cars too. Scott

Thanks 71ZZZZZ looks like I may need to re-think my master plan now. You bot any leads on Riken caps? Scott
  22. SER240Z posted a post in a topic in Wheels & Brakes
Actually I think they look more like the original Enkei caps, but yeah, almost like that except they have the Z logo. http://www.zcarparts.com/store/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=25-2060&Category_Code=WCC Scott

I believe that MSA sells center caps that will fit in the Enkei 92's and they have a Z logo on them, if you don't mind something not so original. I was planning on getting them for my Rikens that I and working on. Scott

Can you clear up for me why it could not be from Japan if it is not a KPGC110? Just curious, I thought that the KPGC was the prefix for the GTR model and the other KGC prefix was assigned to the other models. I could be wrong, just trying to learn something. Scott

Sorry, I didn't know where to put this since it could go in the 240K or California section. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/KGC110069146_W0QQitemZ4564144838QQcategoryZ6392QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem This is the same seller that had a C10 on sale here about a year ago. Scott
