If you shaved the head, you may need a shim set to re-align the cam. Scott

I know it's not a Z, which is why I didn't put it in the cars for sale section, but a friend of mine is selling a '74 Celica, road race ready, 18RG, 48 Mikunis, and a bunch of other stuff. Can you please pass this on if you know anyone interested, or would like it yourself. Scott

Sorry, I was refering to the problem of the oblong/oval hole. The hole in my pedal is fine. I have no play at all where the master meets the pedal. I think I'll try and gravity bleed the system tonight to see if it helps. Thanks Scott

Sorry I'm bringing up an old post, but I have this problem right now. No pressure with the return spring on and clutch won't disengage, but works OK with the spring off, just a little mushy. I just changed the master, and everything worked fine before the master went out. Checked the pedal, there is no play from the oblonged/oval shaped hole. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. Scott

Has anyone used the rubbers for the windows from VB? I have most of mine together and ready to install, but I realized that I want to change the window rubber also, and am looking to order. Thanks Scott
  6. I saw your Z, it was so nice I had to get a picture of it while I was taking my roadster pics. It was an awesome show. Alvin got some great footage. Scott
  7. I'm running Illiminas and Tokico springs. I love 'em. I've had them a while now, and they're great. Set at 2f/3r. Ride is a little stiff, but I could always set it lower also. For the comments on the red spring, the old Tokico springs were black. At least mine are. But then again I've had mine for almost 8 years now I think. Has anyone checked Nopi.com for prices? That is where I originally got mine, and they were the best price I could find at the time. They were also willing to match a price that I had found at another shop. But then again that was before internet ordering was around so I had to call it in. Scott

Thanks for the input. My fittings are bad, that is why I'm looking to replace the line. Scott

If any of you guys have noticed, I've ben looking for a steel clutch line for a '72, I was thinking, would a later year, maybe up to a '78 work. It may be easier to find a later year than a '72. All the dealers tell me that it is NLA. It's the steel clutch line that runs from the master to the hose. Thanks Scott

I have a set of badges that look just like the Fairlady Z ones above, but are missing the "Z" part of the badge. They are in an orignal Nissan box and state that two are enclosed. I have both, they are metal, and the Z wasn't removed, it just is not included. Anyone know where they are from, or rather what they are suppose to be one? Thanks Scott

At one time wasn't there a member who was selling these? Do we know what happened to them? Scott

My father bought his 72 in 76, and I was almost born in the passenger seat. I don't suppose that puts me in the Z era, but I've loved 'em since. I now have my 72, street (slightly modified), and a SRL (see avatar). I guess maybe I just fell in love with Datsuns all together. Scott

I'm sure it's somewhere, but I couldn't find it. What should my compression be on my L28? I did a compression test and have 150 across all cyclinders. Is this where is should be, or how close am I to what is right? Thanks Scott

  15. I don't know. If you need, I can get you a number and you can check with them. Scott
  16. Pollman allows me to drive my car to work as long as it's not everyday. They also require everyone in the household to have a daily driver that is less than ten years old. Scott
  17. I'm kinda late to this thread but here goes: SER240Z comes from my friend and I when we first signed up for an AOL account. At the time the internet had just come out and we signed up together. He had a 92 SE-R and I had the 240Z. Since then I have aquired a 02 SE-R and still have the Z so I just keep using the name. I also got custody over the AOL account so it's still my e-mail address. I don't know how I'm going to add the Roadster to that though. Scott
  18. My Roadster insurance also says that it will not be covered during any racing event, but I can enter it still if I wanted to. Scott
  19. I carry 100/300 but I think I may increase that soon. I have not had to make a claim yet (knock on wood), and I don't know about a way around the locked garage thing. That was one of the few requirements for the policy. Scott
  20. I have my '69 Roadster under Pollman Insurance, valued at $7000, unlimited miles, must be kept in a locked garage. $189, full coverage with a 500 or 1000 deductible, I don't really remember off hand. Scott

Is that the SF Bay Area? It kinda looks like the 91 near Gardena. Isn't that the Cal State Dominguez Hills sign? Scott

I'm not selling this, but I thought that this site would be interested in this. Is anyone from here already bidding on this? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6392&item=2492594876&rd=1 Scott

I've got that system from MSA. Fitment wasn't too bad, I did have some problems getting it away from the diff. One of the bends actually sits on the edge of my diff. I also had some problems with the muffler, but that's only because I have some body damage right there. If you're looking for stock, this system is not even close to it. It's a 2 1/2" piping that removes the pre-muffler and straightens out the whole system some. It's great for performance and gives it a nice sound, but it's not close to stock. I think Victoria Brittish used to carry a stock replacement exhaust system that was from the exhause flange on the manifold to the rear muffler. You might want to check there. If you're anywhere near Los Angeles and you want to meet up I can show you my setup, although I'm running through the MSA headers also. Scott

How's it going Frank? This is for the S30. Roadster is complete. If I had a garage for the Z it would be in there. Scott

Anybody got an extra hood release handle for sale. Cable works fine, just no handle, must have broken off with the P/O. Thanks Scott
