i went to go play roller hockey last night. we won 6-10. my girlfriend and i go out to the car after the game. i parked it at the edge of a soccer field that is behind the community center where i play. i went and unlocked the hatch and my girl said whats that? what i said? she points to a black bag that looked like garbage. i went and picked it up to take a look. it turns out to be a genuine nissan parts nylon cooler. it even has a place inside to hold two drinks to keep them cool. i couple of cans of beer should fit nicely. i was having a kinda bad day and that and winning the game just turned it around you know?

i am getting a 83 turbo motor rebuilt right now. i got the dyno so i would know how much hp i got in the process. i am going for 200 hp. that would allmost double what i have now.

well i got my 71 240z dyno tested today. i am guessing that the car is stock. it got a run of 108 hp at the wheel at 5095 rpms. 136 hp at the flyweel and 111 ft-lb of torque. isnt that kinda crapy? i beat hondas and such easily but it looks like i should get my beat more often.:stupid:

well i got my plates now. i picked 1 sweetz. they look good on the car but i cant take a pic of them yet because my camera is on the fritz. thanks for all your replys.

i was at my mechanics yesterday to ask him when he was going to rebuild my 2.8 turbo motor that i am putting in my z? he then says why dont you put this in your car? sitting there is a twin turbo 300z motor with 40k. he said he got it from japan for $1400. holy cow was i tempted to take him up on his offer. i would but i just dont have the money for that kind of swap. i have to strong and stick to the plan.

there is a 72 orange 240z up here. it is apperently a vewry nice stock version. i called him today about it and he said he had three people at his house bidding on it. its like a mini auction in there. he said it was up to $10000. i said well i guess i am out allready. i think he is a lucky man.

well it is my turn. 12 pages! my name is jason lewis. i have a 71 240z and a 83 turbozx. that motor is going in my 240 soon. my daily driver is a 97 astro awd. i am a ceramic tile installer. i am 32 years old and have loved the z since i could remember. it was allways out of my price range, and hard to find up here. ( winnipeg manitoba canada) i have a live in girlfriend of two years, and 4 cats. the cars that i have ownedlist is here. 77 celica gt 84 omni 83 horizon 83 mazda 323 64 1/2 mustang 88 jeep yj 98 lada niva i just love this site. it is nice to have some z friends even if they are far away.

i have a 71. it has never had heat since the day i bought it. it was earlly spring last year, and i had to drive it a hundred miles down the highway. cold cold cold! the only heat we got was from the exhaust header leak. well if you want to know what the weather is like up here right now, just open that freezer get in and shut the door.

i have no heat. it is too cold tonight to drive around. any ideas that i can check? i know you south guys dont have to wory but i do here in winter peg.

they are bright and blue! i will try and get them out your way next time. i took a picture but it was too dark to come out.

what would i be looking for? and if i found something i would get new ones?

i have a howl that seems to be getting worse. it seemed to start when i changed the springs. it used to only be slow speeds, and now it happens at any speed. i dont think it is the bearing but i am going to check it in the morning. any other ideas? tks

i got them installed.. i am going for a ride to see how they look.

i got some new headlights off ebay. can i take the lights off the front or do i have to go thru the back?

yes they are the same ones as on that web site. i asked him where did he get them and he said crown acura. i think he got robbed by the dealer. i dont think he knows any better.

there is a guy selling used tenzo r rally racing seats. he says that he has only used them i monthe in his 02 civic. he says he paid 1600 bucks and now wants $800. this seems high right? i looked on a website with them and it said $200 american each. that does not come close to 1600. do you think that they would fit in my 71 z? i am going to see them at 4 today. any ideas would be nice.

the rear rubber is p215/60r14 the rims diameter from flange edge to edge is 15 1/4 inch and is about 7 inch wide

i was just reading in a tuner mag about a grounding system. has anyone heard of one for a z. my z has terrible radio reception, and speaker noise. i tried a power antenna and that it did not work. has anyone put one in their car?, did it work?, and where did you get it?

my z has had this problem since i bought it. the wheel rubs on the fender when i am going fast and hit a good bump. it is worse when i have another person in the car. i thought the springs were weak so i got new ones. now thw problem is not as bad but it still happens. the springs lowerd the car by one inch. i have heard offset being thrown around. is that what might be the problem? my rims are offset too much? can i fix that with spacers? wouldnt spacers push them out further and make it worse? or could it be something else?

the window only slips a half to quarter of an inch. the window does not go down any further. not enough drill hole for. i would like to do it properly, but we dont have any z lying in out pick a part places

i want to get a z licence plate. do you gyts have any good ideas?
