Pix of the newest Z
Always a pleasure to see pictures of that car. In my opinion one of the finest restorations I've ever seen. Glad to see it went to a good home. Love the stance with the new panasports.

Anyone in northern New Jersey?
Hi everyone, I haven't posted here in a while, but a daily visitor. After 3 years I finished and sold my mustang http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1969-Ford-Mustang-Beautiful-Car-Low-Reserve_W0QQitemZ160125073381QQihZ006QQcategoryZ6236QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem and want to start looking at z's again. Everyone thinks I'm freakin' nuts to go from a 69 mustang to a 240Z. They don't understand. I just smile. I owned my last 240 in 1978, been wanting another ever since. I saw this on craigslist and was wondering if anyone has seen it or is close enough to see it for me. Long distance sight unseen scares me, and I would love it if an expert from this site saw it and gave me his/her opinion. To me a 72 with no rust is a good buy at $4500. It looks like something I could transform into my dreamcar depending on the condition. Thanks. oops, need the link http://newjersey.craigslist.org/car/330246312.html

He did send more pics at http://www.sillymonkey.com/280z/ Mike

Guese What Showed Up On Ebay!?!
I would have to agree with the scam concept, or else the original seller bid on it himself because it didn't go for enough?????

Beauty on EBay but some questions
Sharp eye. I also remember this car. It was also for sale on EBay about 6 or 8 weeks ago and pulled after 1 day, I believe it was in Providence RI. This thing gets around.

Newly Painted 280Z
I saw your pics of the white 240, I didn't know you had a 280 too!! Beautiful job. Some admirers have been commenting on your rims. My personal choice would be the old school polished slots, they would make that paint really stand out. I love the stance too, the "popular" choice these days seems to be drop it and put 18" rims on everything. To me it dosn't work on these cars. For 5K, it's amazing. You're the man! How about some update pics on the 240?? Do you do this for a living or just a hobby?

looking for a tire expert
These are on a 69 Mach1 Mustang, Red with a black hood. This car just came into my possesion through my sister. (I'm a 240Z man at heart)I'm just getting the car into shape to see what it's worth or to enjoy for the summer. It sat a little low in the back, so I thought with 70 series tires it would lift it back up. I do remember the wide Mickey Thompson's from yesteryear, it was "the wider the better" back in the day.

looking for a tire expert
Thanks KMack, Thats the answer I was looking for since I already bought the tires and didn't know the rear rims were wider. The car seems to sit a little low in the rear, I thought it was because of the "60" number being a lower profile, but I guess it depends on the width too.Very confusing. I'm going to go ahead and mount them ,hope they look OK. Thanks again for your reply.

looking for a tire expert
I'm looking for some info about tires. I have a car with aluminunm slots. The front tires are 215/70/14 on 6" rims The rear tires are 235/60/14 on 7" rims. Can I mount the 215/70/14's on the 7" rims? Thanks.
