was lookin at my 76 280 and noticed it has huge bumpers ( very observant eh?) anyways . Are there any smaller aftermarket bumpers available that anyone knows of?

, duct tape might not be the greatest in the garage but on the road it can be a lifesaver along with bailing wire, tiger tape and tire plugs :classic: Lighting, good lighting. An anvil as well. Line wrenches. Myself I still need an overhead cam valve spring compressor :-)

is that cardboard thing in the bottom under the tire supposed to be able to come out? It seems to be painted down.

I can say from first hand experience that regrind cams from some comapnies are just as good if no tbetter than a lot of aftyer market cams, crane for instance, youl be lucky if ya get 15k out of one. As for resurfaced rockers I see no advantage at all in buying new if the design is the same as oem. :edit, it only cost like 3 buck per rocker to have em resufaced im pretty sure.: imho anyways

Was tearing stuff out on the interior today and I guess the seal around the hatch leaks and my spare tire well was full of water :-) Wifey yelled about the towels, bah, threw em in the wash for her what more could she ask for?! bah :stupid: can anyone point me to a pic of an orangish color stock interior fpr reference please? It doesnt seem to look like the butterscotch color ive seen, mine seems to be metallic. also, my speedo starts at 10, my oil pressure gauge only goes to 90, are these original gauges? p.s. please excuse my typing, i wear a brace and my fingers dont move quite right or in the order they are supposed to sometimes :-)

I first took interest in the 280 when i was a kid and a neighbor had one, then I still thought the 68 camaro was the greatest car ever, (still do sometimes ;-) ) So I thought it was cool but that was about it. While in the service a freind let me use his 2+2 and that was it, I wanted a 280 2+2 ever since, When I got my 280 I felt a little sad that it wasnt a 2+2. Mebbe some people just like the 2+2,..

yeh, the regulator is on my to-do list, its constant at 16 volts , i took a battery acid bath a few days ago, my hands have never been so clean!
