I'm a happily married father of three and grandfather of three, trained as an engineer, and still doing some engineering as an engineering manager for a packaging machinery company in upstate South Carolina.

I've loved cars for as long as I can remember.  My first car was a 1977 Toyota Celica, GT.  I loved that car.  But I had a friend who had a Z.  I loved his car even more, lol.  Since then I've owned a bunch of cars.  Notable ones were a 1964 Sunbeam Tiger clone (Tiger rebodied with an Alpine shell by PO), which I bought as a project and never got finished; and a 1998 Ford Mustang Cobra, which I purchased new and used as my daily driver until it got hit and totaled in 2012.  I cut my teeth modding that Cobra, rebuilding most of the suspension with better components, and doing other bolt-on mods to the car.

In February 2016 I finally bought a Z of my own, a very clean and original 1977 280Z that needed some work to get running.
