Worrying about things outside your control can be debilitating and make you unhappy. I have a little talk with myself when I get like that. And yes, its usually something to do with the Z
  2. Relevance?
  3. Great to see the 280ZX shorty getting some recognition, I love my hybrid coupe.
  4. Love that HD video, the picture quality makes incar much more interesting.
  5. Yeh visit first before deciding, the culture and customs will be different, that may be good or not, depends on the individual.

Somewhere around $15K for a good all round car, although you'd be lucky to get a good one with an RB for that. I'd keep an eye on the internet car sales sites, always a few there.

Seen a few with Autometers in them, there is also the 100mm VDO range, 100mm being the diameter of the body with the outside of the rim a bit more.

To clarify, the VG30DETT in the Z32 has a rear sump.

Whats funny, Nissan dealers in Brisbane supply old Z parts, they are still serviced by Nissan Australia.

What about your local Nissan dealer?
  12. Its an awkward situation because the Z car club caters for all Z models. Would be contra the club's charter and spirit to ban later model Zeds from participating.
  13. Great pics Lachlan, thanks. Appropriate to note that the Zeds were parked at the top of the hill

If its as good as it looks in the pics it would be worth more than the asking price on the East Coast. Love the colour
  15. About 33 Zeds there, which has to be some sort of Zeds together record in Q. Plus lots of other Jap cars, looks like it will become a regular annual event which only can get bigger and better

Bit of a shock, Steve was one of those people larger than life, you just don't expect a fatality, maybe a scratch or two but not the final curtain. A truly unique individual who apparently had universal appeal, not many of those around.

As Warren said, thats for the coupes. The +2's, probably not going much anywhere.

Whoo it is true, Phillip Island !!!! Good work NDSOC http://www.ndsoc.com.au/mambo/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=44&Itemid=0
  20. One like the thumbnail below would be good.
  21. One came with the car, its not bad but I'm after one that incorporates a front bumper as well. A few different types incorporating the front bumper have been made, any available in Oz? New or used.
  22. Had a look at the subject S130 coupe, bought by a Q club member. What a steal  Much better than average condition for a '78, main problem was it was up for sale dirty. Very little rust, its on the road and going well.
  23. Nah, S130 is still being 'built'
  24. Apparently this event has attracted a lot of interest, looks like its going to be a big one

Wondering which circuit for the sprints has been booked? If its Winton, will the long track be used, the short one seems very twisty and tight. Of couse most would prefer Phillip Island
