I don't currently have a working printer[emoji53]. And you're only allowed to print out a certain amount of papers at school[emoji52]. I do have the wiring diagram on my iPad but i don't know if that helps. Sent from my iPad using Classic Zcar Club mobile

A possible short in my 1976 280z(stop/hazards)
So after I completely took off all of the previous owners wire hacking and replaced the modded hazard switch with another one I had laying around, the hazards and the brakes worked regardless of the random wire that came from the positive terminal that also gave power to the rest of the other guages. So now I'm stuck because the "STOP" fuse blew and I replaced it right now and my hazards don't work still. Do you guys have a solution for me?. I also wanted to know how I could fix the rest of the guages since this black wire off of the positive battery post was giving the guages power. I wanted to at least fix the (stop/hazards) lights in order for me to be able to drive it to my auto mechanics and ask the teacher for some help for the other wiring problems, but now I have two problems again[emoji849]. 1976 280z Can anyone sell me a Thermostat Housing
I was changing the whole cooling system with my dad and in order to take off the thermostat we have to take the top part off, we got one bolt off and the last one broke on the top. As we used a bolt remover (drill Bit & Drill) we got I off but we were left with the bolt still in the other half. So we did the same on that half of it. And when my dad was trying to re-thread It, it expanded and got busted. So as we tried to take off the entire housing we got the first bolt closest to the sensors and that came out fine, the last one snapped and now it's just there still. I guess I'm going to have to buy a better one since this one I pretty beat up now. Sent from my SM-J320V using Classic Zcar Club mobile

Now I just have the wire that was connected to that red one that gave power to the gauges. Is there suppose to be a wire that gives the gauges power that I'm missing? Sent from my iPad using Classic Zcar Club mobile

Possible break through in my 1976 280z 2+2
The red wire gave the other switches energy to turn on that's why it was there coming straight from the battery. Yea it's still fuel injected. I just switched the "choke" back to "fasten your seatbelt". But right now I took off the center console to get better access to the wires and Ive got them all on one side. But when I start the car the center gauges don't work and neither does the rpm gauge. Sent from my iPad using Classic Zcar Club mobile

Possible break through in my 1976 280z 2+2
So I fixed the jerry rigging and realized that it was a hazard switch without the face on it so I had a 76'280z hazard switch laying around but there's a blue wire that was cut and wrapped around and that's where there were three wires, so I took off the third wire because it was one of those red fake wires that the last owner did and coupled back the blue ones and I connected the switch and now my hazards work[emoji3]. But. Now my last problem is that my rpm gauge and the temp, volts, oil, fuel don't work and neither do my turn signals. But I don't see what I'm missing. Because when the wires were all messed up they were all arced to different cables. Now I'm just left with this one cable that goes from the battery but I have no clue where it goes. The wiring diagram doesn't tell me exactly either[emoji53]. That's the wire starting from the battery, through the body of the car and to the center console but I have no clue where it goes. But I believe that may be the last step. Sent from my iPad using Classic Zcar Club mobile

Possible break through in my 1976 280z 2+2
I took it apart and realized that it used to be the hazard switch. Then I found a hazard switch spare that I've gotten from a 78z but that wouldn't fix my problem. . So this wire is a direct shot from the battery.which is interesting. that's what it used to look like. Any ideas on where to go from here. I tried to install the other switch that I had my taking the jimmy rigged one out and putting a used one that's intact but that wouldn't solve the problem. . this old one has a blue wire but none of the hazard switches I have, have this blue wire but have the rest of them Sent from my iPad using Classic Zcar Club mobile
