That would be me yeah I couldn't find the notch on the pulley

I pulled the oil pump shaft and rotated it 180 degrees and reassembled it. Moving all plugs back to original position 153624

Appears 180 out

Not sure there is a mark on the pulley. I did repaint it.

Pencil in plug hole shows piston all the way up

Valve up toward spark plug side

But then it should have started when I reversed the plug wires

Distributor appears to be 180 degrees out

How can I confirm that I am on the compression stroke if piston 1 is at The top?

At 536241 it started wanting to catch, and I could smell gas

Do I just rotate the plug wires one position at a time?

Swapped ECU with known good unit. No luck. After swapping the plug wires back, there was a bump that almost stopped the starter. Timing off?

I swapped around the plug wires from 153624 to 624153 And got some kick.

I'm gonna try swapping ECU

Tachometer is hooked up and moves slightly when turning over
