  1. Hey guys, hoping I can get a little bit of help here! I was wondering if anyone had any experience putting a Datsun Competition Exhaust on a 280Z (1977 in particular). From my understanding the exhaust mounting points changed slightly in the 280Z along with a smaller rear valence cutout for the tailpipe. I've been mocking it up and I keep running into the same issue, it seems as if the driver's side flange of the end piece (That muffler assembly in the picture, the right flange) doesn't line up with the driver's side exhaust cut out like it seems to be designed for. Instead it's around the middle of the car and forcing me to route that pipe in an awkward direction that makes it meet up at an angle. Any suggestions? Thanks
  2. Thanks for the info guys! The flanges are easy to slide off the tube so I'll take 'em off and bring them to a partsource or NAPA and see if they've got anything that could work.
  3. Not to hijack the thread but I recently got a set of Clifford Research 6-2 headers and the accompanying dual pipe exhaust system. I'm fairly new to exhaust work and have only dealt with the compression-slip-fit type connections, does this system require a gasket between those flares pipe ends? (Where the flanges meet)
