Weber 45mm Velocity Stacks - Weber DCOE, DHLA, IDA and IDF
I have a set of 6 new, never installed, 45mm velocity stacks made by RHD Engineering. RHD one-piece trumpets are machined from solid 6061 billet Aluminum. All trumpets are 38mm tall and are a correct fit for 45mm Weber DCOE, DHLA, IDA and IDF. Each stack has a rolled lip to minimize turbulence air and ensure maximum air flow potential! I am asking $150 for the set, which is a good discount from what they cost! **Stacks are shown as-is and do not include the mounting hardware. Let me know if you have any questions or check out the RHD website for additional specs: http://racehead.com.au/products-page/velocity-stacks-and-spacers/42-x-38-trumpet/

Spirit Garage vs Fujitsubo?
Ryan you make a good point, I have forgotten about this option. Anyone know the best way to order one of these? I am not seeing an order section on facebook, and the product isnt listed on their website. Does anyone have any comparison experience between the Spirit Garage, Fujitsubo, and Zstory systems?

Spirit Garage vs Fujitsubo?
- Spirit Garage vs Fujitsubo?
I wanted to see if anyone could provide me with some insight into the twin pipe system offered by Spirit Garage. I did some searching and cant find a good review of the Spirit Garage system (quality, sound, fitment). I am between that and the Fujitsubo system, which I have seen a few Youtube clips of. I guess I'm not totally sold on the sound of the Fujitsubo system, but could be swayed. I like that screamy loud, race prep'd sound, but also want to the true dual system. I had some trouble figuring out how to source the Spirit Garage system but after a few email exchanges with RHDJapan.com, they agreed to stock it. I was a little surprised by the price that RHD listed it at, compared to the price that it's listed for on the Spirit Garage website ($657 vs $804, converted from Yen), but I guess that's to be expected. Spirit Garage does offer a full stainless system but I'm trying to be a little cost conscious here. The Fujitsubo system is full stainless and less expensive, while the Spirit system I am looking at is only half stainless. That said is it dumb to even consider the Spirit system? Ainokoz, do you know if this exhaust system is the one offered by Spirit Garage? It looks to be the same design as the half stainless one listed on there website. I have been trying to source one for weeks, and I was finally able to get RHDJapan.com to stock the system. I haven't ordered it yet because I had a little sticker shock when RHD put it on their website. Especially when its $100 more than the Fujitsubo system that they offer and it's only half stainless. http://www.spiritgarage.com/product/21 http://www.rhdjapan.com/spirit-garage-50mm-exhaust-muffler-s30z-s31z.html Curious, do you still like the sound of this system? Do you have any sound clips you could share?- Old pictures of your first Z
NASA Glue on racing wheels?! Hmmm seems crazy. That 7 spoke look is definitely cool though. I cruised the internet last night to see if I could find any old ones for sale, not a chance!- Old pictures of your first Z
Hey Steve, do you recall what wheels you were running here?- What front lip is this?
Just kidding, they are in the US. Ordering process has commenced.- What front lip is this?
That's it! Thank you. No international shipping? That really sucks...- What front lip is this?
Does anyone know what front lip this is? Looks similar to the BRE style non-vented, but is rounded off in the corners. http://petrolicious.com/this-nissan-fairlady-240z-l-is-a-rare-japanese-survivor- Weber DCOE 45 - Will bolt on velocity stacks work?

Thank you guys for this information on the stacks. I got them installed on Friday, still need to put on the heat shield from Datsun Spirit, but here is a picture of them. One thing that they definitely do is make everything else look real dirty! Matt, good point out on the weeping, I will keep an eye on that and see if I experience the same. Thanks for sharing the info on the mesh screens, I will be ordering up a set of those this week. The stacks that I have are from a company in AU called RHD Engineering. They actually sell a few sets on ebay, which is where I ordered them through and they came in less than a week. http://racehead.com.au/products-page/velocity-stacks-and-spacers/velocity-stack-ram-tube-trumpet/ I ordered the 76mm length. They seem to be decent quality. Two piece (all aluminum) design, which I like because you can easily trim down the trumpet to whatever length you need.- Weber DCOE 45 - Will bolt on velocity stacks work?
Just got the filters and backing plates off. Here are the pictures of what it looks like. There doesn't seem to be any sort of sleeves in there now, but not exactly sure what that would look like if there was. I held the new stacks in place and the transition seems like it's going to be smooth and the diameter feels perfect. There is that small lip just inside the edge of the throat though, will that noticeably interfere with the air flow?- Weber DCOE 45 - Will bolt on velocity stacks work?
I've gone through the forums and cant seem to find a bottom line answer to this. I have Weber DCOE 45's on my 240 and I just purchased some new stacks (pictured in red). These stacks are the bolt-on style and do not slide into the carb, like some that I am seeing (also pictured). 1. Will my bolt-on stacks work with no issues? 2. I read that the "slide-in" type stacks help hold the venturi in place, is this true? 3. I also read that the "slide-in" type stacks do something with the choke plate, is that true? Thanks, Jeff - Spirit Garage vs Fujitsubo?
