  1. Yeh I havnt seen any kitted 280zx's in Australia. Ive seen a 1st gen 300zx kitted up just around the corner from me in Perth, thats the closest ive seen. I would like to know if MSA export to Australia too. Because when i get my 240z(and i will:stupid: ) i want some things from there, mainly the 6-2 header and 'twice pipes'. That will be in a fair few years time though...:sleepy: Cheer'z' Chris

Hiya guys, This isnt too Z related but may still concern people with Zs. I just inherited a 1973 Triumph 2500TC and it has beatiful while vinal seats. One problem. In Australia, vinal seats+bare thighs+30degrees C=thighs stuck to seat! I was wondering what type of seat covers would suit this type of car, or what you have. And i dont want those cheap ricer ones with dragons or 'NOS' written on them. This could refur to Zer's because vinal seats were an option in Zs and white vinal was avaliable in America(i think)... In case you didnt know... Cheer'z' Chris
  6. Great... the next Z has risen from the ashes! Taking even LESS from the original S30 than the 350z, ITS THE 420Z!!! Geez it does look a bit like the 350z, not so toady. I recon thats what the 350z would have looked like if it were a Europian car. Cheer'z' Chris

Braided wires and pipes. Makes those ugly black pipes all shiny and metely. I think you can just get it as a cosmetic thing, just slip it over the old pipes(or is that the only way to use 'em?:stupid: ) Yeh, just clean the mo' fo' with a high pressure cleaner if you can get your hands on one. Look at pics of 'clean' engines and see what they have done. Cheer'z' Chris
  8. How do you mean a 'low persplex bubble'? like the windscreen boubles outwards? I donno, I'll have to try it! Cheer'z' Chris B

There is no 240z r/c car to speak of, its just the bodyshell. I have been pulling my hair out on where to get one from for a long time now with no luck. I e-mailed strictlyZ and they said its discontinued. I have found the manufacturer of a 240z rally and 240zg bodies. ABC Hobbies It works out to about AUD$110 after shipping(body only). I emailed the sales person and they give you all of the details. If you want the car as well, a Nitro(pertrol) one will set you back anywhere from AUD$600-$1500 depending on quality and speed. Electric ones are a lot cheaper. I have a Nitro one so if you want any information just PM me! Cheer'z' Chris

240znz I think your talking about the Fairlady Z. Because they had L20's and are Japanese. I only wish Australia would import cars like good 'ol NZ does! Cheer'z' Chris

Welcome to the club. One point. 280z's didnt come out in Australia, only the US. You know the other differences right? The engine size. 240z had 2.4liters 260z had 2.6liters etc. Do you want a 2 seater or 4(2+2) Good idea to search around. Cheer'z' Chris
  14. Alfadog, Ive changed the picture in my gallery. I deleted the old pic and put my new and improoved 'Woody' version! So you might want to edit your post if you want. If not heres the link to it anyways... 350z Woody My mods include... 240zg headlights, shaved rear, modded front bar, mags, a chopped windscreen and of cause the nice wooden pannel! I tried to un-toad it a bit. Cheer'z' Chris

  19. Yeh im in. Post the picture to your gallery. Then people will be able to see the before and after and anyone will be able to get the pic easyly! What is the car going to be? It has to be a picture of a standard car. Nothing like a new Farrari that isn't really 'choppable'. Maybe even a S30(1st gen Z)? Ive done one but it isnt that great. I dont think there will be too much interest but we should still have a duel! Cheer'z' Chris

Nice cars. Have a look at some of mine. http://www.freewebs.com/rczbeat/editedcars.htm That isnt all of my pics. I can send you some of the others if you want. Where is the comps you send in for? Because I recon I could have a chance. I see you only kind of do what I used to do, just clone the bodykits. I have evolved (:stupid: ) to add new bodykits. My best one is probly the dark grey civic. It has Z headlights, Supra/custom front spoiler, veilside wing, 240zg arches, custom wide body and deepdish rims. It took me about 2hrs I think in total. Great plan on the Z. Cheer'z' Chris
