  3. Decepticons! C'mon, you cant be that young can you?
  4. allzparts in NSW should have genuine rubber ones which is what I would use on the diff anyway. Pay upfront, have them posted to your door...no stuffing around. Easy.
  5. No worries, let us know how you get on.
  6. Legally you will need an engineers certificate in Victoria. You would be unlucky to be picked up on it, however if you are doing things properly you will have to consult an engineer to find out what he will pass before you waste any time of effort doing something that is ineligible. I have seen rails here in Japan that suit SR recaros to S30 chassis. They are too heave to be worthwhile shipping though. Perhaps contact ideal in moorabbin, I think they are the recaro distributor.

Unless you have exceptionally low engine mounts I cant see any way around it, however a user here RB30-ZED i think, has done it using the OEM crossover plenum. My solution on mine was to use an aftermarket front facing plenum.

Well, I have been in Japan for a while and stuck here until the end of the year, up until recently I havent had the time/money/motivation to work on my car due to also putting a deposit on a house. I had a productive stint at the start of the year, coincidently after coming back from Japan, where I got all the suspension and steering done and the motor test fitted. Good thing about being in Japan (if there is only one) is that I am saving money and quickly building motivation to get stuck into the Z again over the new year. Also there are a range of cheap parts at my fingertips on yahoo auctions but getting people to help me bid on them with their accounts is not easy.
