240Z from TN
Hope everyone has a great holiday season. And hopefully everyone will get a lot of new stuff for their Z's. I'm splitting buying parts between my Z and my 7 so I'm slowly getting the parts I want. There's never enough time and money

I understand what you mean. There's hardly time to do anything these days. I will look for your photos and check out the rotisserie work in progress. My Z is ok like it is but I want to do a lot of things to make it better. So that's my goal is to just work and do it a little at a time. Suspension, wheels and tires are my next goal. And the body work and paint last after all else is finished. And another plan is possibly building over time and adding an L28 with mild cam and triple Mikuni's. Store my factory motor. Or maybe I should just get another Z?....... Hahahaha

That's cool. I love old aircooled cars. That one in the background of the pic of mine is my buddies '52. We tore that thing all the way down and he cut the rot out and put new metal in it. It's a really sweet car. He's a got a '57 sliding rag also we did from a shell. I let go of all my VW stuff except the '61. I'm trying to concentrate on Datsun's on RX-7's again. I've had that red '85 FB for 18 years and a '91 TII for 15. What all do you restore? Hobby or business? Do you have any pics of your Z on your profile? Thanks for the replies everyone. It's fun to post and blab about cars. This pic is my '61 Beetle at one point.

There's tons of photo's of both of them on facebook at Street Panzers Ltd profile page. And my Japanese cars are on there at Zeros Car Club. I alo post them on Instagram @thumpgun1

Hi, and thanks. I love this car. Before I got it it had been converted to MSD ignition. It has the matching number L24 and has been converted to roundtop carbs. Tokico spirings and Illumina struts and a vented 280Z hood. Since I've owned it it's had new head gasket, valve stem seals, Centerforce II clutch. It is originally a 113 Green Metallic car which I will return it to someday. It has Shelby Diamondback wheels 14x6. My plans are redo suspension bushings, new shocks, stainless braided brake lines, Watanabe R type wheels, stainless exhaust system, and the body work and paint will gradually happen one day. The RX-7 is an '85 GS, streetported 12A. Racing Beat catback exhaust, Centerforce II clutch, BBS Mahle wheels 15x7 The Kafer is a '61 with a 1641cc dual port motor, built from a shell. It's had everything done to it. Thanks for the welcome! I love Datsun's and Z cars and everything I can look at, read, study and see about them. Datsun's, Mazda's and VW's are my favorites.

Hi, I'm into Datsun's, RX-7's and aircooled VW's. I own a '73 240Z two RX-7's and a Beetle. I love Datsun's in general. I'm pretty much obsessed with my Z car and I'm gradually adding to it and getting it closer to how I want it to be. I post pics of all my cars and other stupid stuff on Instagram quite a bit. The main thing is to enjoy the cars as much and as often as possible.

Recommendations on 432 rear spoiler
My back ordered front and rear spoilers showed up today from MSA. I ordered the 432 rear and I'm not happy with it. I am calling and returning it on Monday. One of the bolts has been tightened up so much it has busted through the top. And the edges aren't smooth at all. It would really require a lot of sanding and finish to be used. I didn't realize that they were this rough when you bought one. Even if the finish was better I still need to return it due to the busted spot. I'm not sure if they get these from Classic Datsun or not. Does anyone know if the MSA 432 rear spoiler is the same as the Classic Datsun and Whitehead Performance model? Can anyone recommend which or any 432 style rear spoiler they feel is the nicest or best made? I want to leave it black and do not want to commit to drilling holes in my hatch unless it's a nice spoiler. I'm unfamiliar with this spoiler. The ones I have gotten before for RX-7's are Gel Coat or much cleaner looking. The front one I got from MSA is fiberglass and primed on the outside and it looks good. It will have to be painted but it has much cleaner and smoother lines. Is this as good as they get? I'd appreciate recommendations and experiences of others please. Thanks for reading.

What front lip is this?
http://jdm-car-parts.com/products/nismo-type-front-spoiler-for-datsun-240z-260z This NISMO type is really nice also. I like this one just as much. Really glad to have found this information. And as above, I also would love to have a set of the headlight covers. I'm looking for a set but only if they are priced decently and not overly expensive.

What front lip is this?
This is great. I came here to post the exact same question about this front spoiler and saw this thread. This is my favorite one that I have seen. I originally was going to go with the BRE front spoiler and after I saw this one I liked it even more. Thanks and I appreciate this info on this as well.
