  2. Do you have a pic of one of the re-plated fuel rails? I would like to purchase along with some other smalls that are replated. Thanks
  3. Reduced to $300 and I will be listing on Ebay shortly.
  4. A few more from along the way. Hope to have the engine fired in another 3-4 weeks.
  5. I had high hopes of documenting step by step the restoration of my 72 but life got in the way. I am going to post on this thread going forward and turn back the clock a few months. Car was a good clean California car almost rust free car but needed love just about everywhere. Paint is driver quality so my plan is to do what I can to make it a nice driver with intentions to paint later.
  6. Nice, I have a set of turn signals that also need some love. Sent from my iPhone using Classic Zcar Club mobile
  7. What did you use to apply the product? I.E. Just by hand?
  8. Thanks! Hadn’t seen that particular compound Sent from my iPhone using Classic Zcar Club mobile
  9. I have a very nice set of headlight lenses but they have a lot of small scratches. Does anyone have any expierence with polishing these guys?
  10. Is that $189 shipped? Sent from my iPhone using Classic Zcar Club mobile
  11. What do you want for it off Ebay? Its as you know on an auction.
  12. I have an extremely nice set of 14" Western wheels, we will refer to them as fake Centerlines. They have Pirelli tires on them however, the car sat for years and while the tires look good, I suspect they are square from sitting and have some cracking. I have not driven the car with them on it, so we will assume they are no good. I am asking $350 for the wheels with lugs which include a lock lug and all center-caps. Shipping will be based on your location. If you don't want the tires its $350 if you want the tires its $350... you get the picture. Obviously shipping will be more with the tires. I have proper rim boxes to ship the bare rims to you. These rims are straight! On one or two there are very minor nicks in them. See the pics. These would ship from NE Florida. Jay
  13. I did scroll back through your build thread and saw this pic. Wow; how many ft of mat did you use? You audio acoustics should be fantastic!
  14. I am interested in seeing how some of you guys who have installed Dynamat or similar materials in your 240Z did it. I am particularly interested in the rear of the cabin. Did you stop at the edge of the 2 compartments or did you install it over the doors? Pics would be most appreciated. Thanks! Jay
  15. Where do you get your lenses?
  16. Out for a little sunshine and soon a motor.
  17. New wheels are in for Project 240, Rota RKR 15x8 Zero offset. Was thinking about 205-55-15’s, from what I gather this will keep everything under the fenders and hopefully no rubbing.
  18. What size wheel and tire are you running? Looks really good, Love the White!
  19. Yea, this is the first time I have done that, works great for some things and it’s cheap and easy to remove.
  20. Over the past 2 month. Pulled the engine and trans, had the head rebuilt, rebuilt the motor, cleaned and repainted engine bay: rebuilt the front end and replaced all the rubber, new struts. Removed front fenders, resprayed undercoating and or paint where appropriate. Still need to finish engine bay details, rework stock valve cover and then we can drop motor and trans back in. INterior was completely striped and seats have been rebuilt. New wheels, tires exhaust etc etc etc......
  21. Me and 3 of my buddies who are all Z guys in N.E. Florida are looking for a reasonable resource for Cad Plating. I travel by car a lot for my job so I am willing to transport them out of State. I am mostly in Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina and Alabama so I'm hoping to find someone in one of those states. I did use a company in Orlando but they were expensive and every nut an bolt had to be cleaned and to save money wired up in strings so that they could be dipped I guess. I have seen pictures and heard of guys who have worked with companies that allow you to bring in a bucket full of hardware. We have alot of bolts, some fuel rails, throttle linkages etc that we would like Cad or Cad like plated. Any suggestions or insight on the matter would be greatly appreciated.
  22. Looking forward to the finished product. I had heard through a friend that you were getting close. Do you plan on offering the hardware to attach them to the buckets?
  23. Do you still have these wheels?
  24. One step forward, two steps back..
