Yup. The first thing to do with your car is to see if the adapter harness is tucked behind the existing radio. I don't think Stefan looked behind to check. If it is not there then you need so source it.

This thread was to help him get the car ready to sell.

Did you get Stefan's 280z on BAT? I found a radio for him on Kijiji. Maybe pester him about it. They come up often at good prices.

Johnnie mentioned that she is in some Nissan truck brochure wearing shorts. Her parents somehow saw it and were not pleased. Probably in the 60's.

So sad, Janet and I always enjoyed talking with her at Zcons. She's with Mr. Matsuo now.

  11. Main jet of 115 would be too small for andL28. 120 to 125 would be a start. Idle jet of 50F9 may help. Q. Is your 40DCOE a 151 and are all 3 carbs the same? The first 5 things to check before you tune are: 1. Screw all idle screws in and back out the same number of turns. ~ 2.5 full turns for 40DCOE151 2. Ensure throttle valves are closed all the way and rest on the throttle stops with out pressure from the push rods. 3. Ensure all linkage and push rods move the throttle valves at the same time and the same amount. 4. Ensure the fuel level is the same in all carbs and is ~ 27mm below the jet bridge.

The problem is that Darwin's Natural Selection does not work for humans anymore. There are unnatural ways to correct their wrongs.
  13. You are on cam position #1. That is fine. Your mechanical valve timing is a little advanced as shown by the triangle indicator which is fine. Seems to be a new non-stretched chain. When you get a couple hundred thousand miles on your Z then you can go to position #2 to take up chain slack. You have no worries and are good to go.

Another Canadian 510 swap: VG30 six in this one. Can't recall if it had a turbo. Sleeper. He also had HLS30-00048 🙂
  15. I'm with the rubber vice gang but I also think heat is nice too. Perhaps some propane on the aluminum piston near the needle will help.
