@christoffel if you have time to start going through the historical content on this site you will see and learn a great deal about these cars that you never realized, especially the fine details that Alan, Kats, Carl, Chris, MikeB and many others provide from their love, research, documentation, and connections. Here is a link to help search the past content. Just substitute the key words: https://www.google.ca/search?q=site:classiczcars.com+seat+difference https://www.google.ca/search?q=site:classiczcars.com+seat+difference&source=lnms&tbm=isch Enjoy this post from @kats on the European set up! https://www.classiczcars.com/forums/topic/57418-test-report-of-hls30q-z-europe-model-countermeasures-high-speed-stability/

Routing for fuel level sender harness?
- Routing for fuel level sender harness?
1977 280z has an access port in the floor. The sender is in the top of the tank. The connector has 3 wires. Sender return low fuel sensor.- Routing for fuel level sender harness?
The Jan 1971 above has two holes in the floor. The harness has two groups of wires that run through these: One group is for the sender leads and the other is for a ground connection leads. A 1973 that I am now working on does not have the ground leads coming from the rear harness so it only needs one hole as Kats shows, Here is the run to the fuel sender and the extra leads for the optional fuel pump. Green&Black (Fuel Pump) Yellow& Black (Fuel Sender) Here is the original ground connection that has broken. Two ground leads come out of the the harness and are bonded by the connector.- Routing for fuel level sender harness?

Was the black spray paint done at dealer?- Mint '71 240Z - More Fun Coming to BaT
Yes, the rarity of the R brings the $$$ so it is not apples to apples. However, such a low mileage Z is also very rare so we will soon see its value. Next on deck, it will be interesting to see what a made-in-69 HLS30 in good condition will bring. It is great to see all values rising!- Mint '71 240Z - More Fun Coming to BaT
Do it 8 more times and it gets in the realm of the 432-R ?- Nissan Early DOHC & Crossflow Page from Japan

Deflecting a discussion is a well known tactic. Please take the advice as helpful. I'm working on a tribute to the 1969 blue 240z at the Tokyo Motor Show. I considered the words: replicas, copy, etc. but tribute is the only accurate word. I was happy that we are both in the same boat but your 432R tribute is a far more challenging effort than mine.- Mint '71 240Z - More Fun Coming to BaT
Beautiful work @christoffel FYI HLS30-00013, 00016, and 00032 have slightly different wing nuts: Here is the rare bird (photo from @kats)- Mint '71 240Z - More Fun Coming to BaT
Just keeping your content accurate. I believe you need a body to improve the accuracy in replicating.- Mint '71 240Z - More Fun Coming to BaT

- 2021 Nissan Z: What We Know So Far
I hope it is a clean slate with low weight and low price as the key points. The 350 to 370 path is a sad one. Had the 370 style came out in 2003 then that would have been nice then they could have spent 15 years just making it lighter. The 300zx references may make "the new Z" less "retro" or a truly mixed up mess. It is the S30's 50'th not the 300zx's.- L28 full rebuild assembly
Basically a Mercedes Engine so their block colours are reasonable. - Routing for fuel level sender harness?
