  2. 305 is more sophisticated and is very "Italian Cool" btw I know blue! Here is the Z that caught me...I'll never forget my first ride!
  3. I drove with CO many times.... he is a good driver for sure!
  4. I see you are in Kanata area? I am in NS but work for a telecomcompany HQ'd there. I may be able to stop by every now and then to lend a hand. Having a good set of tools is important. Yes.... why not check with the local Z club. They may have some members who do the same work. You would get a better quality job done and the price is usually fair.

It seems like nearly every 240z wheel is darker than the brochure photos? Has anyone restored to the original colour?
  10. I just posted pictures of it in the classifieds. No it is not my 432 in the photo. I wish ?
  11. View Advert 96321-E4100 Mirror (Same as provisioned on 432R) Very early mirror with no anti-reflection features. Thin, light-weight, with grey plastic. All 432R's and some 432's were fitted with this same part (96321-E4100). Note: The grey plastic seems to indicate an early production version (~1969) as later versions, sold through parts departments, seem to be constructed of a more traditional black plastic. Offers. Great quote! Could go viral!
  13. I have a Z432R rear view mirror if you need one.
  14. After all the testing, we could never tune out the rich dip at WOT onset. The only time I saw it tuned out was when exhaust reversion was dealt with. Also, it does not seem to be as significant on 40mm carbs. It would be great if someone could fab a beat-off old header into an anti-reversion header and see if it can help the cause. We have done a lot of work on this but it seems it will need a look at the full breathing system to optimize further.
  15. ~ 0.5 to 1 point richer. Probably due to the choke and colder weather. Shape is similar. I think the exhaust reversion may be causing the rich dip that seems to be in all EFI and Carb runs with 45mm DCOEs. The only big difference is right after going to WOT, the rich dip now starts earlier. A smaller main should bring the A/F up a point.
  16. Looks similar to Sept. but ~ half a point richer. I'll plot later today.

Sorry, I forgot to ask earlier. My friend does not want to sell but of course he would entertain an offer. If interested, please send me a message.
  18. Make sure the cam tower's oil holes on the side are blocked off (in case they are the early type for an oil bar).
  19. Murayama S20 with Webers as early as 1967 was mentioned in @kats thread. It seem to have more HP than with Solex:
  20. Were they faster than Mikunis in the S20 for the Jan race? They did use Mikunis in the first L24 432R in July
