At the Z barn: Helped my buddy get a 73 going that sat for 5 years. Runs great now. Clogged fuel bowls, fuel needle valve blocked, missing internal carb spring, weak return springs, fuel pump failed, timing was at 10ATDC and vacuum leaks Picked up a fuel pump that matches the type in the very early FSM's Enjoyed a great view at the barn on the mountain and time with great friends... even saw a 1969 LA police car #12 stored there.- Grinding Weld Beads - Recommendations, please
I've used a die grinder with stones on an exhaust flange fillet weld to clean it up.- Happy 2019! A lot of 50 year milestones coming up!
Six Domestic Z's made in Aug 1969. Only 1 Export....possibly HLS30-00003 which may be this one used in the Factory Service Manual and other technical publications. I thought that tool was for the heater cables? LOL.- Advice for selling
Talk to Hank. I recommend "Hemmings". Prestigious, lots of photos, and a long selling period. https://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/?makeFacet=Datsun&modelFacet=280Z&adtypeFacet=carsforsale&year_min=&year_max= BAT seems popular but not sure if cars in Canada sell easy.
