Your close and vibrant family impressed me when visiting. I'm glad they are all OK. It will be a great family get-together conversation for many years down the road.
  4. I noticed the Dyno RPM on the screen seems off? Was the dyno working OK?
  5. They must have installed the American Standard upgrade kit on that Z. For the neighbours.... reminds me of a movie:

I've used Continentals over the years on SUV's and Pickups. Excellent tires.

These rooftop pictures of prototypes in 1968 certainly had high-back seats and a refined interior. The black wheel in the targa and the the centre console are different. Copy cats in 69:

I used Falken summers on my Miata back in 92-94. Lovely tires. Name was Azen or something like that. Made in Japan by Sumitomo. I stored the car in the winter so not a problem. I did like cornering so they did wear quicker but it was worth it. They traded off sticky for wear. Summer driving here is mid May to end of Oct. They seem to have up sized. This one comes in a 16 but the tread looks more for track: https://www.falkentire.com/tires/passenger-car-tires/azenis-rt615k-tire
  10. Could be water pump or timing chain area. It sounded louder when filming at the front and at the back. It seems somewhat random occasionally so it may not be crank related.
  11. Idle then pull each plug wire one at a time and see if the clunk changes. A mechanic's stethoscope will help to isolate.

I like how the pressure releases when the exhaust valve opens a crack....long before the piston even is on the way up. A huge high pressure wave released into the exhaust manifold.

Decisions people make when driving speaks volumes of how they think and see things. Braking on approach to green lights, waiting for the road to be completely free of all cars before entering, not creeping into intersection for left turn on green, lining up in the right lane like lemmings when the left lane going in the same direction is empty, driving below the speed limit, not maintaining a constant speed, not speeding up to merge into traffic when needed, using wheel chair parking when able-bodied, staying a car length behind at a red light, not signalling, driving with lights off, driving with high beams on, texting and driving, smoking pot when driving, littering etc.... daily occurrences.
  21. Thanks Jim et al. Great news for the Z world!

One of the first signs were rumble strips on the sides of the road for people who can't stay in their lane or stay awake. Training wheels for cars!!!

The legislation seems stupid to the masses... but unfortunately the masses are stupid. They are taking over like zombies! What a sad world. Glad to be checking out in the next 30 years or so.
