  1. I watched the video. Seems like you have spark but a very weak mixture. Have a look below the EGR valve and see if the manifold rotted through causing the exhaust to dilute the charge in the manifold. It is a very elusive problem.
  2. ignore
  3. Immediately Check for Spark: The next time your car dies and you pull over, immediately pull HV wire from centre of the distributor and place it back next to one of the driver side nuts at the top of the strut. Have it ~ 1mm from a nut. Crank the car and see if you see a spark jump from the wire to the nut. Practice at home a few times checking for spark. You may need to take some tape to hold the wire in a convenient spot.
  4. Similar design to some SU tools.

I'm with Patcon. I have a small propane fireplace in my garage and a 100lb tank outside. Keeps it toasty and less cost than electricity. With your chairs it would give a nice ambience ?
  11. I'd put a couple of 2' 2X4 parallel on the floor so that the shaft in the transmission is not on the floor. Just let the face of the housing rest on the wood.

I think your lift is great as well as your lift locations: If you have a floor jack: If you are stuck on the side of the road:

It was a post for you back in the archives a few years ago. Something on Ebay I thought would interest you: An invitation package sent to race teams to compete at Fuji Speedway from the 60's. Also there was a prince mechanic's overall from the 60's.

It seems this company in China supplies many companies with lifts, including Rotary. http://www.vsgdover.com/APAC/index.htm

Would you stand under your car knowing the lift was made in a country where it is ok to: lie falsify certification documents not vet supply chain ship parts that are not manufactured correctly? I would build some trusses to put under your car just in case.
  23. Good work! I am betting on that battery terminal. When you have time disconnect, inspect, and clean every electrical connection in your engine bay, in the passenger footwell, on your ECU, at the fuse panel (including fuse holder tabs), and ignition box.

Thanks Jim! That is a quality post that should be a reference for all! Now to pass the information to my buddy Ross who is in Arizona with various Z's to bring home.
