Hey Ollie, I got my rebuilt close ratio 5 speed from Vinny bedini in Connecticut. I forget the name of his shop but I can find his number if you want it. He did a great job; new synchros and runs like a champ. I highly recommend him. He's a Datsun god and a true wealth of information. It was the perfect trans for the 411 diff. And the original shifter works perfect for it.

Yeah, that's a great chart for comparison. I think that one will be best for me because I have a 411 rear differential, so it should drop my rpm's down close to 25% with that 5th gear. Sent from my iPhone using Classic Zcar Club mobile
