  12. The build date would suggest that you have what is called an open ratio. You can check by looking at the speedometer mount screw location. It’s probably a 12:00 o’clock. This a still a good 5 speed. Are you using a stock 180 rear end? Sent from my iPhone using Classic Zcar Club mobile
  13. My experience is that the white LED gives the red lens a bright red but a red LED is more dull and is similar to the stock look. Ps I bought all of mine from Superbright LEDs along with The flasher. Biggest drawback is the dash lights lost ability to dim. Sent from my iPhone using Classic Zcar Club mobile

  24. So a new shroud could explain a cooler temp at the radiator. A new sensor wouldn't make any thing cooler but may make the gauge show different. The stock sensor is located at the lower part of the thermostat housing. Is it picking up the coolant temp from the front of the head? If that is the case the thermostat then opens when temp reaches 160 and allows cool water to enter. Correct? What good does putting a 160 degree thermostat do? Sounds to low! Is there an optimum operating temp for these stock engines? Thoughts any body! Sent from my iPhone using Classic Zcar Club mobile
  25. Great question. How would I know what the temperature of the coolant in different parts of the engine? Is the an ideal temperature? Is there a critical maximum? Sent from my iPhone using Classic Zcar Club mobile
