Hs30-h Are you familiar with why the shifter location on this car would be so far forward? Seller doesn’t seem to know what it is. First photo is the Race header which contacts the tension bar mount. Today I was trading PMs with another member who was having figment issues with the Race Header hitting the transmission cross member. I have had the same issue using the full stainless system. Also the number 6 tube is located so close to the lower fuel line on my SUs that Sean sent me a Race Version which moves the number 6 tube forward. Sounded great but when I tried to install it it made contact with the tension bar mount. There is an in other member that I believe had the same issue. I would be happy to pay for some of the material if you have some extra. It dulled the finish. Further polishing was difficult without removing the bumper. Took it to a professional who quoted 250.00 to polish. So I gave up and gave away the bumpers and had two bumpers rechromed at a quality shop. My comments were in regard to my experience with Harrington bumpers I had purchased. Not all SS is the same. My experience with SS bumpers from Harrington is you must be very careful cleaning them. I realize it seems so simple. I have been driving and working on early Zs for 30 years and made a wiring mistake on my current 72. It took a friend 5 minutes to look at it and move one wire to cure a similar problem. Ps I probably have five working tachometers if you need one. Let me know and can send you one.
