What's the max pic size?
Chris, thanks for the offer but I got it. I the pictures I was trying to upload were 1600 x 1200. So I've reduced the size of the file and it's working now.

I don't get it Carl. I can't. I'm sure it's some technical doo-hickey. Oh, well, I'll keep playing with it to see the max size I can get.

What's the max pic size?
Hi everyone, I was unable to upload pictures I'm guessing because they were too big 1024 x 768. I tried uploading a smaller picture and it worked. Does anyone know what the max size of a picture that can be uploaded is? Also any suggestions on how to reduce or shrink my pictures. I'm using windows XP if that helps any. Thanks

Help! cleaning fuel lines.
Either replace it with another, make a new one, or try and clear the blockage in the one you have. Also inspect the tube for a kink. Maybe you hit a rock or something that flatened the tube? To clear it, disconnect both ends and try reverse pressure with some compressed air. Or run a wire through the tube.

Car vibrates
My vote is wheel balance. Take it to a tire store for a proper balance. Do not take it to Wal-mart! Those Mickey-Mouse mechanics couldn't find the underside of a car if it ran them over.

A/C Questions
Welcome to the club! Hope you get to enjoy your Z soon. I've heard of using a blower from a Honda Civic. Not sure what year but it's supposed to blow a lot better than the stock fan. Also make sure all the duct work is tight and that there are no kinks or holes. In mine there was a 1/2 gap between the blower and the duct work.

Advice for paint shop?
I've been to four different shops in the last year. The shop I'm taking it to does nothing but restorations. Mostly corvettes but they do other older cars as well. People have brought there cars from as far as Florida to have this guy do their car. He has painted several concourse winners. I saw a few of his finished products and was very impressed. He also uses PPG products and guarantees the work.

Advice for paint shop?
My baby is going to the bodyshop/painter tomorrow. I was wondering if you guys could offer some advice or things to watch out for. I did make up a small list of things that I want done like filling the molding holes and stuff. I have also reassembled the car (just the body pannels). Thanks

Just picked up 73 240z. Should I rebuild the L24 or swap to something else???
You say the car has been sitting for 15 years, and that your on a budget. First you need to get the car running properly. Change all fluids, replace the bad hoses, brakes, battery, etc.. the price tag will soon deplete your budget. Once you get her running then you can start modifying. Brakes, it's nice to go fast but how about stopping? All those rubber bushings underneath are 30 years old. You've gotta be able to take that corner right? How about new shocks? You see how stuff adds up. Engine wise, when you get the L24 running you can start by modifying it. Carbs, cam, exhaust, head and ignition. All of these items can be transfered over to a L28 bored out or not.

Thought I would bring this one back to the top. Bid is up to $4750.00! Not bad if you ask me. That's 4250 profit! http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=2486548444&ssPageName=STRK:MESE:IT
