Any insulation that can be added to the diff cutout area to stop the rattle? My exhaust is tucked up really high and is banging around. This pic is not my exhaust but just showing the area. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I have a method of finding where exhaust fumes can enter in the rear of the Z. Sorry if this was discussed already but it’s easy and something you can do with supplies you already have. Took my large LED shop lamp and put it in the hatch area and moved it to where I was focusing on. Then turned off all the garage lights. You can see even the smallest pinholes with this method. Then sealed them up with body sealer. A smaller light might be better to fit in different areas but you get the point. I was amazed at all the little holes I could find in seams and rubber boots. Especially useful in the areas between the rear deck and the quarter panel. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  13. Well I figured out my green/white wire heating up with lights on issue. I noticed the heat really was starting at the plastic connector at the bottom of the steering wheel. I inspected it and there was a brown burn mark. I cut the green white wires on both sides of the connector and spliced in a new wire to connect them bypassing the wire harness connector. Now no more heat.. maybe it was a poor connection in the connector causing resistance. I am going to still change to LED though thank you ! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I hope they paint it, slam it and then stance it with a super large wing and under glow LED Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I just looked at the schematic looks like green/white goes to the following but not the headlights.. Side markers Turn signal/parking lights All Gauges lights Ashtray lamp Radio light Tail lights License plate light Cigarette lighter light Glove box light Hazard switch Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Adding onto this... on my 78 when I turn my headlights lights on the green/white wire going into my combo switch gets hot to the touch. Is that normal? If not where should I look to fix that? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  18. Do you really think it’s possible to have no gas for cars even in 30 years. No it’s impossible, we can do things such as require all passenger cars being built by x year to be electric. Think about how many years that would take to get all the remaining cars off the road that are using gas. Trying to reduce fossils fuel does not make someone a moron look around the change is coming wether you like it or not even super cars are going electric or hybrid sure maybe it’s for other benefits they realized from electric. And that’s just passenger cars, then there are boats, planes, machinery etc that need fuel Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My 78 would hang while driving. Ended up adjusting all the throttle linkages to remove the slop and putting a new return spring on it and that solved my issue. When the idle would hang I could move the linkage a tiny bit in the engine bay and it would drop the idle back down Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You want all that done in 3 months? If so that’s probably not going to happen unless you know all the parts you need up front and order it all now, between shipping, taking things apart, putting the new stuff on, then more shipping because you forgot little things that’s not going to happen. Don’t want to be a Debby downer but that’s very ambitious for a single person and not a full time resto shop that can work in multiple areas at one time Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. That’s what you find when you go blowing on hoses This sounds bad but can you suck on it? Is it a one way valve? I am guessing it allows vent from the tank to the canister but not back to the tank? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
