I have been going over the ideas of buying a new bumper or rebuilding mine. Rebuilding will have more character so I would like to go this route. However I have concerns that my front bumper may not be fixable. My grandpa hit something and it caused the the bumper to flex out. Any ideas of reshaping? What are you guys paying for paint jobs? I have had a couple quotes from professional painters wanting todo it at their house on the side for around 5k so I thought I would collect a quote from a legit shop. He gave me a quote for 25k with a warranty the others there is no warranty. My car is pretty straight overall will some bodywork needed. There is no way I can convince myself or my wife to spend that much. I would have a 35-40k sitting in the garage that is worth 15-30k the numbers don’t add up. Does anyone know of a good source to buy inner door parts. Window assembly parts ect. I am replacing worn or broken bushing. Curious what typically wears out to make the window not roll up smoothly. I will try both of these problem solve ideas. I did do a continuity test on the heavy ground wire going to the cluster of combination switches. It is a separate lead that goes to a relay switch under the dash on passenger side. Does that relay have to make a ground to the chassis? Sent from my iPhone using Classic Zcar Club mobile

I am noticing that when the combination switches turn signal/ headlight touch the column there is some weird things happening. The relay under driver side is making noise and when I bolt the two together on the column keeps blowing fuse. I taped the column to so not short around the brass plates where the idolaters should be. Still popping fuse. To two biggest questions I have on this is the blue lead off the harness by the console. Was hoping someone knew where that went. I would agree that it appears to be a accessory power. The unidentified 3 pin connection that only has two wire has a red wire and blue/white wire The unidentified blue wire is solid The not sure red wire is solid and like a 12 gauge abit thicker than the other leads. Sent from my iPhone using Classic Zcar Club mobile

Steve I was hoping to pick your brain about a couple connections as well. I am having struggles remembering exactly where all connections went under the dash at the console. And unfortunately I did not take enough photos. My question is about the short wire harness from the blower the switch on the console. I have photo shopped a picture labeling connections that I know and the ones that I can’t seem to find on the wiring diagram. I can not seem to locate the blower on the diagram. I will include a pic of the one I am using. Maybe you could be so kind to point out what I am missing? The blue wire I think goes to a relay undo passenger side of the dash. Steve I am noticing when I don’t have the switch attached to the column it works great. It seems that I may be missing some idolaters because it not movement of the switch touching the column it’s the brass corners.
