Any suggestions on aftermarket air filter and crank case breather. I was considering using the stock air cleaner. But as my engine is coming together I am re thinking that. Question about the water tube between the intake manifold. I replaced the o ring on the inside and put a fiber washer on the threaded part. Should I put thread putty to help prevent water leaking ? Sent from my iPhone using Classic Zcar Club mobile

So good news I got my motor in but I guess I did not get all connectors as tight as possible. The two wire connector that is located by the alternator came loose. I did not take pics when I re wired, just did one connection at a time. So now I am left wondering which wire goes where :/ Any help would be greatly appreciated. Got the engine in and it went down abit. Rolled back a forth several feet and is still sitting abit high. It doesn’t feel like much give on the front end. I thought I followed all torque numbers. Could there be anything else? Sent from my iPhone using Classic Zcar Club mobile

I just lowered my car off the jack stands to install the motor. I have installed new polyurethane bushing throughout, new struts along with eibach lowering springs for a overall 1 inch lower. My front end does not want to relax and be a natural state. Is this due to not having the engine in? Is the front typically that stiff? Not sure of what the norm is.. Coming up with another problem with automatic conversion. Not really sure what todo with this extra wiring.
