Need Help Finding a Harmonic Balancer with an AC Pulley Groove or Finding a Pulley Addon for my Current Balancer
I was tearing the garage apart looking for some lost parts I had put in a "safe place" this morning, came across this boat anchor and thought of your post. Some of the valleys are rough and I don't know the history of the part, but I wont be putting AC on my car so PM me if needed.

240Z hatch repair panel
New spare tire cavity looks great. Couldn't tell from the photo, what did you use to coat the top of your replacement metal with before attaching the slam panel?

240Z hatch repair panel
I attempted to recreate the panel underneath first. While it is passable, it's not very strong. I have the prefabbed top panel ready to go on and it feels much stiffer. I was wondering if Jughead had taken your advice and how satisfied he was with the sturdiness of the plug welds.

240Z hatch repair panel
Hey @Jughead curious how you did on the panel. I had to remove the entire top layer of the hatch area on mine as it was all compromised and I was tempted to try and build in more rigidity using the patch panel on top (it has those pressed grooves which make it much stiffer than my underlying patch.) Did the plug welds do the trick? Also, anyone have any bright ideas on how I can attempt to recreate the small weatherstripping lip?

Mystery Markings
Gentlemans, This spring, in the name of citizen science, I've taken to trying different methods of cleaning spare parts that I've accumulated. These experiments have revealed some odd numerical stampings on a spare block, head and cam that I never noticed before (given that they were covered in crud before.) Admittedly I have not torn down many motors in my lifetime. But I am genuinely curious and my searches haven't revealed much. My best guesses are that the block was marked by a machine shop who had shaved off a .003", and perhaps, in an effort not to mix up customers components, stamped the cam and tower with the same numbers so that the re-assembler had a fighting chance?...they seemed too sloppy to be cam grinds... P79 head (unknown year), F54 block (also unknown year) BP

Facebook vs Forums
Hey Guys, this is definitely not the first topic I thought I'd be commenting on here. But, for what it's worth, a very big reason behind my Datsun ownership was that I wanted to push myself to do things that are out of my comfort zone (like, you know...talk to people.) That being said and given my age bracket, Facebook should have been a natural fit, but it's not. Other than having a couple knowledgeable friends over to the house, this site can't be beat. Happy Holidays, very thankful you all are out there.
