Thanks for all the great info. When I try to remove the cover on the float chamber the top gets stuck under a section of the main body. Is there a way to remove that cover with the float still attached?

Thanks the pistons move freely. Should I remove the round domes to see if anything is out of place?

Looking for a little help with the proper location (which cable goes to which lever) and proper routing for the heater control panel cables. Mine were all removed by the PO.

Several vendors have them for the front but I haven't been able to find any for the back overriders on the 1973 model. I'm also looking for the front bumper filler pieces that go on both ends of the front bumpers again used only on the 1973 240Z (see attached image). If you have some of the 73 only parts (new or very good condition only) please let me know what it would cost to ship to San Diego, CA 92024. Thanks 73 Z Bumper Fillers.docx

Hi folks, I have a stock 1972 240z and the steering shaft is lightly rubbing against the drivers side motor mount. All suspension is relatively new, motor mounts were replaced, the rack and pinion was replaced with a rebuilt unit from CA. Datsun. Thanks for any ideas/suggestions.
