  2. I'm just gonna wait for someone idk how to explain to you that it doesn't need to be fast but to have normal power and not way less than normal Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  3. I'd assume it have either 200,000 or 300,000 bit it's hard to tell based on only going to 90,000 on the gauge. And the 83 is almost as loud with a bad muffler, it's just the 79 never squatted like a z is supposed to and never really have power in any gears other than first and second. I can also verify it's faster due to finally beating my friend who was in Chevy Tahoe, the fact the last one couldn't beat a Chevy Tahoe was shameful Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

this is my 79 280zx that runs pretty good minus a idle that goes up and down rarely when first starting. had front end collision but i have everything to fix it and i have the front of the tub that needs replaced which was all that was damaged structurally(see pics) passed last smog easily. whole interior was converted to black minus the carpet. body will be straight once front end is replaced. transmission shifts great. The fuel system was cleaned and i did a big tune uo to the engune with things like cleaning the afm. i have a bunch of brown interior and some other parts that come with it. i basically bought a better z and dont have time for this one anymore because of other projects. Also has new drive shaft. Located in Sacramento California, 1500 obo Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk

  6. The 83 has 200,000 miles so I doubt it's in better shape. I still have the 79 but it has an issue I'm hoping someone here knows about, cause I can't find it Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  7. Where's it located Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  8. Oh and the air bypass valve would make really loud high pitched vibrating noise every once and a while, that cause me to find a vacuum leak but it still had all the other issues Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
  9. So a year ago I bought 79 280zx, I did everything to it from cleaning out the entire fuel system, cleaning the afm, valve adjustments, trying to clean the throttle body, I blew air through injectors and the fuel rail, sealed the tps after cleaning it, changed spark plugs and wires, ran fuel cleaner through it, and changed the plugged pcv tube, changed one injector to get rid of a misfire which it succeeded at doing, checked for vaccum leaks, corrected timing. It also would sometimes start up and the idle would go up and down and after driving for a bit it would stop the bad idle and it rarely stalled but started stalling more and more at only the first stop light times the idle was bad and also sometime later into owning it, it started randomly somtimes dropping rpms on the freeway, the idle didnt really matter on it being winter or summer, but the rpm dropping was when it got warmer. Oh and its straight piped and cold air intaked. Recently I got a 83 280zx after rear ending someone with the previous one and without doing much to it, it had way more power already the first time I drove it. Any one have any other ideas as to why it was this way? I've looked everywhere for a while as to why. If I can figure this out it would be a really big accomplishment.
