  1. I don't even know where the stock hanger would go? I don't have the mount that they use. I read that it was developed for the 280z?
  2. Looks to be mounted somewhere on here
  3. Any pictures of attachments. It didn’t come with instructions. There are 3 brackets. 2 are for the muffler. 1 looks to be mounted somewhere just past the diff, but I can’t see exactly where.
  4. Can you post close up pictures of this?
  5. Riley from lynchburg nissan. Smart guy. I don't actually know what comes with it. But according to photos and what google translate says, I don't think it comes with one. Header was around 740$ shipped and exhaust was 805$ shipped, I think it would have been cheaper together, but I don't know that for sure.
  6. Yes it is. I should have it mostly hung this weekend.
  7. I ended up buying a OEM gasket. The tech was great. He said aftermarket is good for lesser quality headers, but oem is what they suggest for nicer headers.
  8. What intake/ exhaust gasket do most people recommend?
  9. Well I broke my exhaust manifold trying to remove a stud. So I think it's time for a header. Might as well match my fujitsubo exhaust. Darn. I wasn't ready for this decision. But might as well zinc the rest of the engine bay.
  10. Message sent. Thanks!
  11. Going to use the e31 head so same as I have. Going to make it state of the art:) My basic idea, is the engine bay will look totally stock. I am even going to put the engine numbers into the block. Then crate my 2.4L in case of sale or wanting to go back to stock. Everything I am doing will be reversible.
  12. Stock manifold is broken, going with the fujitsubo one.
  13. Stock 2.4L, so this might hurt performance slightly. I am planning a 3.0 build for winter though.
  14. Well this didn't go well. My stock manifold broke at corner. So I need to get a header.
  15. It's in the pictures I posted before. Clamps that go around the pipes to attach to the hangers. Not my favorite part of the design, but should work fine.
  16. Got the new system. Wow is it nice. Now time to grind off my stock manifold bolts and drill and tap it. Then I can install this system. I ended up getting it from Japan. They were sold out till June, but one was for sale there. I used Streeter Corp to broker the deal and get it here.
  17. Totally different. Vapor won’t even remove zinc. It just picks dirt out of the surface. I am using much more fine glass though.
  18. Just remember the glass beads are microscopic. It would just to wash up or filter.
  19. Ordered the fujitsubo exhaust system and the White head performance stainless adapter to my stock manifold. Not to get it all nicely purge tig welded and get the stupid exhaust studs off.
  20. Looks to have 2 strange looking clamp connections. One on the tailpipe and one on a center area. I got my WHP fujitsubo/ to stock manifold adapter. Now to purge tig weld it. I bought it tack welded since their welds looks so shotty.
  21. Well I drove the z! She runs a little rough. I think electronic ignition, check timing and fiddle with the carbs are next. Also install exhaust. Boy is it loud with nothing:) I had to take the brake switch block apart. It was gummed up and causing some issues. I also screwed up on the 1" Mc push rod adjustment. So it was stopping me from bleeding correctly and also gave me terrible brakes. Re adjusted and it's working well now. I could use a little more brake, but I think that would mean a bigger booster.
  22. I got my centric rears that were back ordered. They are works of art. Model 142.42523 and 142.42524
  23. I can tig weld stainless. But I would rather not weld on a brand new 900$ exhaust.
  24. Only thing I don't like about the new fujitsubo is the exhaust hanger not being welded onto the muffler. I wonder why they did that?
