  1. https://www.fujitsubo.co.jp/prods/detail/000000000000002299/00000000000000005125/00001708 is the exhaust I have. Quote from their webpage: It is only compatible with safety standard conformity product 2 seater exclusive Super EX (510-15037) WHICH IS WHAT I HAVE. Some machining may occur when attaching an old car. In that case the cost and claims etc can not be applied at all. Detailed data is Super EX (510-15037) installed. 510-15037 Link below. https://www.fujitsubo.co.jp/prods/detail/000000000000002300/00000000000000005128/00000546 You had me worried.
  2. That might be the header that doesn't work with LHD z's. There were 2 to choose from that bolt to the new exhaust. Again, language barrier, new product, so my fingers are still crossed it bolts up:) I am hopeful though. I did as much due diligence as possible.
  3. It’s not. I had Jesse Streeter communicate directly with Fujitsubo to make sure it works with my exhaust. I’m sure it looks similar if not basically identical to their old system. Doesn't look like the header from page one of this thread though. I guess fingers crossed still:)
  4. Nope, only fits my model exhaust, well fingers crossed:)
  5. New Fujitsubo header is in! Well mostly. It’s coated in chromex ceramic coating inside and out for heat reduction. Clears steering well. Also my series 1 heat shield could be bent up to clear
  6. Thanks! I will retain my stock one raw. Then vapor blast one. Then red. See which I like the best.
  7. I got the newer type spray bar back from being sonic cleaned and got the valve cover installed. Wow I love the black and zinc look. This is Prismatic powder coating PWS 4344 Splatter Black
  8. He is a great guy, he is rebuilding my 11 mikuni carbs as we type.
  9. Worked on the valve cover over the weekend and also took the rest of the engine bay off for zinc. Got a new NOS ballast for my ignition and also upgraded to electronic pertronix coil and points. 1.5ohm coil so hopefully my tach works. Valve cover is wrinkle powder coated black. I love how it turned out.
  10. It's still going but they don't do anything mikuni anymore. I believe Dave Premo bought up the parts (http://tuning4performance.com/)
  11. I get the header back probably wed from cermanic coating. Then install time!:) Should clear and have around 2" from the steering shaft.
  12. Thanks! That helps. I have the brackets backwards. Do you have the system?
  13. Working on hanging it. So far so good. Hopefully getting the header back from ceramic coating friday.
  14. I don't believe my bumper rubber is cooked, it's definitely not perfect.
  15. What? All exhaust uses some sort of rubber for movement. Also this far back shouldn't be too hot, I can normally touch mufflers with a bare hand without getting burnt.
  16. Install is going pretty smoothly. Guessing on mounts and directions of mounts. But I think I have it. I won’t tighten anything until the header is in. The header is at the ceramic coating shop. Hopefully finishing this weekend.
  17. Yeah, I will have to look to see if I have that.
  18. I don't even know where the stock hanger would go? I don't have the mount that they use. I read that it was developed for the 280z?
  19. Any pictures of attachments. It didn’t come with instructions. There are 3 brackets. 2 are for the muffler. 1 looks to be mounted somewhere just past the diff, but I can’t see exactly where.
  20. Riley from lynchburg nissan. Smart guy. I don't actually know what comes with it. But according to photos and what google translate says, I don't think it comes with one. Header was around 740$ shipped and exhaust was 805$ shipped, I think it would have been cheaper together, but I don't know that for sure.
