Multi Award 240Z for sale
I am still marketing that multi award winning 1973 240Z for a couple out of the country. This is truly an exceptional vehicle. You can find information and photos at the following website: http://home.comcast.net/~datsun-240z The car is located near Denver, Colorado. We just had the opportunity to see a Nissan restored 240Z at a Nissan dealership just a few miles from here (Peak Nissan). If you plan a trip soon, you can see both at the same time... that would be a good thing if you are looking for a really nice one. I would still like to see this car in the hands of someone that will get it back out and visible in the Z community. Thanks again to this awesome site! For discussion please call Michael at 303-989-0001 To respond by email: datsun-240z@comcast.net Website: http://home.comcast.net/~datsun-240z Thanks again. Harry

Tough Love
Thought this was cool: Dear Abby, I recently read your column advising grandparents on "tough love" for misbehaving grandchildren, whose own parents let them run wild. I have followed your advice, and enclose a picture demonstrating my technique when my grandson just won't behave while I'm baby sitting for his parents. They have told me not to spank him, so I just take him for a ride, and he usually calms down afterward. Signed, Tough Love Grandpa

Anyone Know? Nissan Restorations
Thanks to everyone for the information... and especially the data sheet. Does anyone know the ranges they sold for and who has them?

Anyone Know? Nissan Restorations
Does anyone know how many Nissan authorized 240Z restorations were completed and sold?

has anyone had problems fitting new door rubber seals on their 240z's?
Are the OEM (Nissan) seals no longer available? I had no problem whatsoever with those. A touch more effort to close the door for about a week. Then perfect. Not a leak, not a squeek.

It is common for the doors to be a little harder to close until the rubber "seats". Also check to see if the doors have been adjusted a little too tight to compensate for the collapsed weather stripping.

su carb oil
I've used Marvel Mystery Oil. Someone told me about it and I thought it worked great. Even if it should get sucked in, it will only clean your carbs and valves. It's intended use... to put in your tank, so I figured it wouldn't foul plugs, etc.

you really never do know..until its to late
You are in my prayers as well ZmeFly. Lost my dad a year ago April 13... that's the only way I could ever relate. Find comfort in knowing he is in a better place, and someday, when the time is right, we will meet with them again. Harry

Right on AZ-240z! In my opinion, you are right on the mark. You will not regret what you have done... hopefully in the very near future.

Thanks for your time thefastestz. I will compile and send a few people to them... actually it would be easier to direct them here. I hope to be looking again too in about a year... but for a V8 this time... maybe.

Early Z Market Value
There was a referral to a shop in Cal. Actually gave the phone number, name and a link to their site (it may have been Mike that gave the referal). I can't find it in either forum... but I read many other forums too, so it may have been somewhere else that I read it. Thanks for the info you posted... very helpful.

Early Z Market Value
Get your target practice here! Just kidding. Can't find the post currently, but someone made a really intelligent suggestion regarding contacting the people that restored for Nissan to see what they had and what it would cost to restore a Z. Just wondering if anyone has. And where the heck was that post? Possibly in another forum? Anyone have the shop's name?
