  1. Thank you. Will 280Z rear shoes fit 240Z? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Can anyone provide either carbotech or porterfeld part numbers for toyota fronts and stock rear drums.
  3. Twice a year 30 minute wash. Thanks to prior owners for keeping this 71 almost rust free. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. My 4th Z a 1980 (pic taken in 89) which I didn’t keep long after adding headers, complete Ansa exhaust and doing all that body work lol.
  5. Pic taken 1994. Car is a 78. 12/70 260Z motor Mallory dist triple Weber 40s ext oilcooler headers twice pipes Tokico Iluminas Eibach springs frt/rr sways
  6. Well 15x9 -15 is going the other way sticking the wheel outside dealing with rubbing against fender lips. You might get away with it by using smaller tire like a 185/50 if you’re fine with that. Assuming your suspension is close to stock height. I know someone with that setup. I now run 15x9 0 offset with 205/55. Not much rubbing, I’m lowered by an inch with eibach springs/ilumina struts. 12/70 260Z motor Mallory dist triple Weber 40s ext oilcooler headers twice pipes Tokico Iluminas Eibach springs frt/rr sways
  7. +11 on 8 inch width puts the wheel more on inside. Might hit your struts. 0 offset is better. And you need 4 lugs . To confirm this look at your space between wheel and struts now then add +6mm and diff of wider rim. 12/70 260Z motor Mallory dist triple Weber 40s ext oilcooler headers twice pipes Tokico Iluminas Eibach springs frt/rr sways

  11. Well. I might not need coilovers after all. Let’s see how this goes. 12/70 260Z motor Mallory dist triple Weber 40s ext oilcooler headers twice pipes Tokico Iluminas Eibach springs frt/rr sways
  12. Thank you Zed. Thanks for everyone’s feedback. It really helps. We try avoiding the expense but want the best possible combo and I still make lots of mistakes. 12/70 260Z motor Mallory dist triple Weber 40s ext oilcooler headers twice pipes Tokico Iluminas Eibach springs frt/rr sways
  13. That was the plan though rebuild that short-block but more research says an N42 performs better. 12/70 260Z motor Mallory dist triple Weber 40s ext oilcooler headers twice pipes Tokico Iluminas Eibach springs frt/rr sways
  14. Block never mind the head attached to it Head 12/70 260Z motor Mallory dist triple Weber 40s ext oilcooler headers twice pipes Tokico Iluminas Eibach springs frt/rr sways
  15. That’s an N42 block with an N47 head which I won’t be using. It will mate with the N42 head in other picture. 12/70 260Z motor Mallory dist triple Weber 40s ext oilcooler headers twice pipes Tokico Iluminas Eibach springs frt/rr sways
  16. Sorry I’m not well versed on engine internals. I simply have an idea of what I think I want to gain power so please pardon me. I’ve got a friend working on this for me. Stock 280Z block and head (can’t even tell if early or late) but will be getting stage 2 cam, triple webers dcoe40, lightweight flywheel. Anything I should be doing/upgrading or can do to add some power without going crazy expensive? Any other details I need to specify kindly let me know. Heres the block. Heres the N42 head 12/70 260Z motor Mallory dist triple Weber 40s ext oilcooler headers twice pipes Tokico Iluminas Eibach springs frt/rr sways
  17. Awesome! Thank you. 12/70 260Z motor Mallory dist triple Weber 40s ext oilcooler headers twice pipes Tokico Iluminas Eibach springs frt/rr sways
  18. Was staying stock pistons but open for suggestions. 12/70 260Z motor Mallory dist triple Weber 40s ext oilcooler headers twice pipes Tokico Iluminas Eibach springs frt/rr sways
  19. Replacing the tired 260Z motor in my 71 with 280Z block and head. Will run mild cam, lightweight flywheel, keep the triple Weber 40s. Car street driven and probably some autocrossing. Would like increased compression. This good? 12/70 2.6 block E88 heads Mallory triple Weber 40s headers ext oil cooler Twice pipes Tokico Ilumina Eibach springs frnt/rear sways

  22. Lets hope I don’t. We’ll start with just lowering via coilovers. 12/70 2.6 block E88 heads Mallory DCOE40 3/2 Twice pipes Tokico 1, 3/4 in sways, ext oil cooler
  23. I’m okay with it. Prev car ran -2, -3 for years. But was planning on what you suggested (camber maybe later). Thanks 12/70 2.6 block E88 heads Mallory DCOE40 3/2 Twice pipes Tokico 1, 3/4 in sways, ext oil cooler
  24. Yes interesting, pretty but probably too much for me. I will probably stay stock pieces with BC coilovers. Thank you 12/70 2.6 block E88 heads Mallory DCOE40 3/2 Twice pipes Tokico 1, 3/4 in sways, ext oil cooler
