Sorry to hijack. My 71Z supposedly has Nissan Competition calipers up front. Are Porterfield pads available for these? I was told its the same pads for a Toyota 4x4 (can’t remember if 84 or 89). I replaced the rear line with oem but the new line is gonna get ruptured as well. After a short test drive I discovered the line is rubbing against the rotating drive shaft (hope I identified it correctly). Am I missing a part or a longer line is needed? Update: dilemna solved. Was going for twice pipes but tried 2.5 instead to avoid cutting of the valance but guess what... ended with twice pipes after all (my muffler guy did an awesome job not cutting) which sounded great to me. Let’s see how long this lasts but like I said I’m loving it for now. Refined sound but too quiet (Abarth) 2.5 nice deep scavenging but still a bit quuet Twice pipes... twice the fun.. Voila!!! That was it.. the inspection and probably due to melted wiring. Totally forgot recalling reconnecting it and I guess this was the reason why it was purposely disconnected in the first place. Feel a little embarrassed with all that diagnosis. I was getting frustrated but sat down and reread the replies.
