  1. Thanks. I am very particular. I am trying to relive that full ANSA (single resonator midway with glasspack tips) music 12/71 kilimanjaro white, 2.6 block E88 heads triple weber 3/2 Abarth Tokico 1, 3/4 sways, custom rollbar
  2. My 71 came with a complete 3/2 headers, Abarth system with 2 resonators. It's a little quiet for me. I like it scavenging loud but not too loud, some droning acceptable, popping backfiring is fine as I think it's sexy. What are my options? I hate to cut the Abarth system if someone could use it. I am leaning towards twice pipes and if needed I will resort to adding a mid muffler. Thanks 12/71 2.6 block E88 heads triple weber 3/2 Abarth Tokico 1-3/4 sways
  3. Both fuel pumps I was told. Sent from my iPhone using Classic Zcar Club mobile
  4. This? Reads 5 consistently when given a little throttle.
  5. Thank you. That's the plan. Drive it with new plugs, recharged k&n filter and monitor.
  6. I hear you. Was going to recharge them this weekend. Not much of a carb guy either but loved them back then so this is purely fun for me.
  7. So I noticed great responses from this forum and so I decided to introduce my self. My apologies for posting away before this introduction. So I'm back in a Z after over 20 years. She's built 12/71, resprayed, triple Webers, 3/2 headers, Abarth exhaust, Tokico adjustables. She will be driven any chance possible. I might autocross her occassionally. I'm coming from 9 years playing with Porsches. Job loss forced me to rid of my 84 Carrera which I loved then tried a Cayman (now for sale) which was great but lacked the old car feel. I love driving these cars and really not one that keeps them in the garage for months. I'm looking forward to having fun making this car my own though I'm not technically savy but a hands on kinda guy. Obligatory images. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. All responses acknowledged and will report back any updates. Thanks so much to all. Great forum. I see myself hanging out here more often. Cheers!
  9. Thank you so much for the replies. I will certainly report back once I get somewhere with this. Obviously with the colder northeast weather up ahead I really don't mind some permanent heat.
  10. Sorry don't know just got the car. Yes I intend to give her an Italian tuneup once register and with new plugs. I drive in between agressive and safe/normal.
  11. Ok will do. I've been technically unsavy lately. Must be old age.
  12. New to me 71 with triple webers. No smoke. Thx
  13. Checked my plugs and they are all wet fouled. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Top lever pushed to the right (heat) and won't move back left. Unsuccessfully tried removing that panel. Anyone encountered this or could provide a solution? Many Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. No need.. she's fine outside the box... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Totally with you. It's gonna be difficult resisting from an itching driver's perspective.
  17. Thanks guys! So bottomline address trapped water. I am really into 'driving the car' not just looking at it.
  18. Talking about getting caught in the rain or frequent washing. Will this promote rust on a rustfree S30? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Ansa

What would be the closest setup that equal the sound? Of course I'm refering to the old Ansa complete system with one resonator in the middle and over/under glasspacks at the end. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Got a car with triple Webers but no choke. What's involved in adding a choke? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Bummer. Thanks. Back to Z after 20 years.
