  1. I found this. https://lotuselan.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=40&t=24632&start= Guy talks about drilling a vent hole in inspection plate. Older Italian made webers have solid throttle shaft inspection plates and newer one have a hole. This has to be it
  2. Thanks. Level is set correctly. Using dip stick method
  3. Zed head. Honestly man. Im tired of messing with these carbs. I had these carbs vapor blasted and rebuilt last year. They leaked a little out the cold start mech so I sealed them up. They were good! And now leaking there again. Wanna buy old Italian model 18 DCOE 40s?
  4. Would the choke mech leak if float value was stuck? Its wet If I touch underneath at carb/intake spacer. Not leaking out of air horns. What you guys think
  5. Thanks guys. Adjusted valence and now enough room to drive. Still very close but good enough for now. Went for a drive and got back and smell fuel from under the hood. Rub my hand underneath carb. Found carb leaking where meets intake. Who wants to buy a 240Z?!
  6. Thanks Guys. I'm about to tackle that now. Looking for bolts under the Ziebart
  7. Cut the inner bushing? @Zed Head
  8. Good eye! Spacer is 5 mm. And I did use it. It still rubs with if off. Puzzled because spacing is fine on drivers side. I'm going check the valence for adjust now. Thanks! I'll let you know soon
  9. Hello. They are 0 offset. I drove this car for 2 year with the previous wheels 15x7. Using the same times as now (225/50) and had no issues. You can clearly a smaller gap in front of tire compared to the left side.
  10. Thanks Zed. All bushing are new. Replaced them last year. I did check them out and the bushing are correctly installed and nuts and even and tight
  11. Hello Zed. It rubs when driving. I have it raised now to take wheels off. Sorry I shouldve made it more clear. It rubs on sheet metal on lower part below the chrome bumper. Wheel well area
  12. Good Morning, a new issue showed it ugly face after I installed new wheels. When from 15x7 to 15x8 and now R/F tire rubs bumper when turning left. I have read that nissan designed R/F caster to lead a little , but this is too much. Can this be adjusted? Also noticed that left front wheels poke is more that right side by 8mm. Any suggestions? Has anyone adjusted subframe for this reason. No frame damage is apparent
  13. looking good @duffman. yeah i popped for the this intake. Thanks for the pictures i may have to go that way
  14. Hello @MikeW could you share you were you got your t-cable from? I just install the harada you recommended. I don't have that return idle problem anymore and in super happy, but my pedal feels really stiff and hard to press. I'm using the crank that comes with the intake and a lokar cable. Feel so stiff that cable may break. How does you pedal feel? Can you make some suggestions?

@Mark Maras hello Mark. A little background about the car. I bought it with a stuck motor and the webers and cannon were on it. Rebuilt motor and had problem ever since. So what I did was rebuilt that carbs , made a heat and ceramic coat headers and cannon manifold. Still was having this isses even after replacing internal springs with the strongest available and 3 external springs. The damage may have been done before I got it. Great idea. I will take manifold and have the surfaces checked.

@Zed Head good morning. I'm definitely not even close to an expert. I've tried many things to remedy this issue. I don't have anything against springs. I've tried many Springs from weak to strong from 1 to 3 Springs Total I'm still acts up when the engine is really hot thanks for your help

It's late you must be tired and you're cranky. Remember I came here to ask for help. Hoping from people who actually experienced and resolved the issue in having, but all suggestions were taking seriously. I'm simply making a statement Thats adding more spring is not the solution. You made a good recommendation to check for vacuum leak after plates and I thanked you and checked and that's not it. Anyway. Sorry you feel that way. Thanks again

That was a co workers voice and it was fake news. Just middle one sticks and its not the carb because I switch carbs around and sticks to middle position. There are many triple weber config running with 0 or just 1 weak return spring. I wish it was just that. Please understand that it is beyond adding more return springs. I'm determined to get this solved. Thanks for the help. I will definitely post the solution on this thread

@gundeeIt's just the middle carb sticking.
