That problem has been resolve, it was, a burnt fuseable link and some burnt wires. I had to have it rewired.. We got every thing working but now the head lights don't work, it strange the wipers, parking lights, dash lights, signal lights all work. I know it can't be a bad switch I replaced it two years ago.. I got it from Motorsport and it was expenisive..Any suggestion..Omega Z

The fusable link to the starter was burnt I replaced it but still car want turn over.. no electric power.. the battery is one month old..Any suggestions. Omega Z

My 1971 240Z has been in storage all winter. Today I tried to start it, but it wouldn't turn over l..The battery is new, the horn works, I have no headlights but the brake lights and the flasher lights work..has any one every had a similar problem.. Help me.:hurt:

I have a 71 240z, it loses power even if I push the accelerator to the floor then eventually it goes dead. If I wait about 5 to 10 minutes it will starts and run very good. I have had a tune up, relaced the gas filter and the problem still exist.. Has anyone ever had this problem. Thanks omega z:

I currently have Michelin X one, P195/70 R14 its an all seasons tire. I just want a good tire for daily driving...........

I need some new tires for my 1971 240Z, any sugestions.........

I've checked all of the suggestions even had my tires re-balanced.. I guess will take to Hurst Imports he the best in this area..any more ideals....

I have new ball joints, wheel bearings, tierods ends and stuts.

I have a 1971 240z. When I accelerate to 60 mph my car starts to vibrate the faster I go the more it vibrates. Has anyone every had this problem, if so, what did you do..

I thank all you for your help I found the problem; the inner right u-joint was broke, I'm back on the road again!

Daniel: Thanks for the information I will check that out. One more thing that you probably need to know, although I can shift into any of the 5 gears the car will not move. Could that still be a problem with the brake spring?

Thanks for reponding. The wheel didnot lock up, I can turn the wheel and the clinking sounds as if its coming from in side the rear wheel.I think it may be the axle, but I'm not sure. I had the u-joints replaced a couple of years ago. I can shift in to all 5 gears.What do you think?

Help! I have a 1971 240Z with a 5 speed transmission.I heard this clunking noise coming from the right wheel it become very loud and then car just stopped and I could put it in gear but the car wouldn't move. When i pushed the car you can still hear the clunking sound, it sound like something is broken. Has any had this problem? Does any one know what the problem is? Help!!

How much are you asking for the tails lights? I have a 1971 240z. Are they in good condition?
