Well... the Twice Pipes is a GREAT exhuast setup don't get me wrong... it is very similar to the Trust (Greddy) setup. The pipes are each 2" in diameter, and exits out of 2 glasspacks or resonators. Twice Pipes on my 280Z hang rather low, and with a lowered suspension driving over speed bumps will cause some scraping. For a 240Z however, it should fit very snug. Only problem... The MSA Twice Pipes setup is VERY VERY VERY loud! My parents can hear me rev my engine at 2,500 RPM over 3 1/2 blocks away.. and in my opinion.. with a stock exhuast manifold and the Twice Pipes it sounds like I am running open headers. At first they are a bit.. well.... weird and ricey sounding.. and it sounds like it's farting. But once the fiberglass packing inside starts to burn out.. prepare yourself. I set off car alarms EVERYDAY in my neighboorhood.. and especailly in parking garages. It's soo much fun.. but may be too damn loud for older folks (i'm 18) You can get a different muffler... but you need a dual pipe inlet.. which I think magnaflow sells.. but you might need a resonator.. because it will resonate without the glasspacks. Here are some picstures of my 280Z twice pipes setup and a video My Twice Pipes thread And a video Right Click and Save As please
  2. Here's some mods to boost power... Intercooler like one from an Isuzu NPR Turbo Diesal Boost controller 3" exhuast Bigger injectors 60mm throttle body Powerful fuel pump from walbro you can upgrade to a T3/T04e Garret .57 trim turbo Standalone fuel management such as SDS or MegaSquirt SHould get ya in the 350 hp range + BTW there is an 3.1 Stroked L28eT 240Z on eBay right now. He has over 358rwHP... but you need a stroker kit.. LD28 crank from an Maxima

Don't buy the twice pipes exhuast setup though... it's nice... but it doesn't fit snug at all... and it gets loud as hell. Really loud. Go with MSA's 2.5" exhuast and you can get any type of headers. There really is no difference in the 3-2-1 headers compared to the 6-1. I have heard however, the longer the pipes and the smoother the bends, the more flow and HP you can get out of it. The 3-2-1 are a bit shorter and curvier.. so i couldnt really tell ya.
  4. Very, Very VERY nice car you have there.. it's a shame you need to sell it If you were back here in Denver where you bought it.. I might consider it Best of Luck to you, and beautiful car!
  5. Holy crap! Man i couldn't even guess.... WOW! I don't know and it's a wild guess... but if my Z was rusty.. I would pay $800 +
  6. Yeh they are crack free. If you need the bumper too, by any chance i'll let it go for cheap. So both bumper ends.. the chrome bumper.... and the rubber stops in front of the bumper... Shipping is around like $25 dollars... so if anyone wants it.. let me know... I just want it out of my basement so I can store new stuff there But if you want the ends... shoot me an e-mail
  7. Hey, I have some front bumper ends for a 280Z.. in VG condition, but the screws which are mounted to the the ends which bolt onto the fender are missing on both of them. But something can easily be fabbed up to attach them on, and since it's behind the finder you can't tell it's missing bolts anyway. I'll sell em cheap, they are just sitting on my shelf, don't need em.
  8. wow!!! i'm here in Colorado.... WOW!!! Ohh I want it... hmm actually I have the cash for it... hmm... if you don't sell it... within the week.. let me know.. i'll come check it out
  9. hmm... I need to take it back to Midas Muffler... but this time... a different location !
  10. BTW I didn't cut the valence... but I figured if I did.. then it would fit better.... but my body is soo nice the way it is won't do it Modify the part to fit the car DO NOT modify the car to fit the part
  11. Well.. the exhuast shop tried to have the pipes go Up and Down... instead of Side by Side... but the Muffler had mounts to bolt onto for it to be upright.... and the tips are angled upward as well. So if I put the pipes Up and Down, the tips would be facing left or right... and wouldn't look right. I would try to adjust em myself now.. but the damn exhuast shop welded everything together. I LOVE the sound... but I don't like how low they sag, and it's side profile. If it was more tucked in.. it would be PERFECT

My 1978 has that damn sensor in the master cylinder when the fluid level or pressure is too low. Fixed that and it's off now
  13. um.. just looking at it, I don't trust it... he must have cut down the EGR soo far, he actually went through and there is a hole. Unless you can weld it back and seal it up... i wouldn't trust it. Try out www.zcar.com they can help you out, and you can get answers quick.

yeh... the JGTC is going to be HUGE in USA soon... they never air it on SpeedTV here in America.. well.. maybe once every few months... but sweet cars... and much more interesting than our GT class races... a twin turbo 350Z and 500HP Skyline's racing Ferrari's and Lambo's are much more exciting than a Cadilac V8 racing a BMW.
  15. soo... outta curiosity... how is everything working out? Have you found maybe a way to re-produce these beautiful JDM covers available for sale?! Ohh man! I'm soo excited!
  16. Victor Laury i am a bit confused by what you typed earlier... Are you saying that SeaFoam indeed does work, or does NOT and is like putting antifreeze in your engine?
  17. Yeh the smoke stopped after about 5 minutes of driving the car a bit hard... and gunk came out with the oil when I changed it... not sure about the gas though... but haven't seen any smoke.
  18. SeaFoam treatment... VIDEO and instructions! Lots of smoke... Well after wondering around Zcar.com and Classiczcars.com.. alot of people have been wanting to use SeaFoam.. a chemical to help de-carbonize your engine and clean it out! But many are sceptical like I was, so I went to my local NAPA autoparts store and bought 2 bottles. I poured 1/3 of the bottle into the vacuum lines for the intake, 1/3 in my gas tank, and 1/3 into my oil or crankcase. POUR it in VERY SLOWLY!!! once in the intake manifold TRUST ME!! (NOTE : once in the crankcase, let it run for a while, then change the oil ASAP because it thins down the oil and that's bad) So I decided to show you guys a 2 part video ... an introduction, and where to pour it into the intake manifold! Also... after letting it sit for 5 minutes.. look how much smoke comes out after all that de-carbonization! SeaFoam introduction and instructions (about 10 MB) After 5 min. soak... SeaFoam and it's smoke (6 MB)
  19. Nissan 1990 Touring Car -- VIDEO -- History and Skylines too! Found this on the net.. figured you Nissan buffs would LOVE it like I did... and has R31 and R32 Skylines in it with motorsprts.. and NISMO http://www.hgeconsulting.com.au/1990.wmv
  20. ur not gonna feel 2-5 HP and is only noticable by a computer... now 10hp to 20 hp you can feel and is worth it... but.. ehh it's not worth it.
  21. the dirt and mist comes in through the actual headlight... from BEHIND the headlight... from all of the dirt and water going in the fender well.... it goes through the back of the headlights and over time builds up inside the covers.
  22. each are 2" inches in diameter... so technically it's a 4" exhuast setup.... but because of the 2 - 2" inch pipes doesnt flow as well as a 4" :stupid:
  23. oh dear God!! Count me in count me IN!!!
  24. i just need to figure out a way to move the exhuast AWAY from my tire! I am getting melted rubber on my exhuast when i make hard right turns... grr!
