  1. ohh no.. i was just mentioning wheels that look VERY similar.. like based off the same classic design.. but each manufactures touch.... There are tons and tons of classic wheels for our cars... i just wrote a baby list of wheels that look similar to Panasports/Watanabe's.. and/or other options.

the early 240Z headlight buckets were fiberglass.... the later ones and 280Z's had metal
  3. SO.. we have have following options now : Panasport ( expensive ) Watanabe (way too expensive) Minilite (eh, not my taste, and too small) KONIG rewinds (very sexy and cheap) Rota (way to small for my taste) American Racing Series 401 (very nice, can get 15x14"!! and cheap!)
  4. yess!! i found me a part time job!! Expo design center.. owned by Home Depot... haha *sigh* i'm gonna be busy now.. full time college schedule.. part time job.. and running back and forth to the airport for flight training.... wow.. this is gonna be interesting
  5. i'm not flaming... I just wanted to say... you have a unique idea.... go for it!! Let me know if you can pull it off! I would like to try it out in my Z
  6. i don't think any car company has the ability to do that with an automatic... I think your wishes are too extreme... But if they do!.. let me know!
  7. Yes that headlight cover does look familiar You still don't understand how I happy I am for you helping me out Victor Laury your awsome
  8. actually a 240SX transmission can mat to an L series engine with minor mods... and they do make sequential trannies for 240SX's.... So.. you can put a 6 speed sequential tranny into a Z car... and a light mod to the bell housing and driveshaft, it bolts right in... almost.
  9. .. i have an automatic.. just convert to a MANUAL!!! jeesh.. or go all out and by a sequential transmission with paddle's or something
  10. oh yeh... and look at my happy face!!! During my extremly boring hours when off of school, and no job.. i went to the Ferrari dealership to put a smile on my face!! Yes.. this is how I feel with these wheels
  11. .. yes I lost my job.. and yes I am sad... But after I sold that seat for $500 and I got such a good deal on these wheels, i couldn't pass them up. ( oh and that DVD player I installed month's ago :nervous: ) Plus the tires I had sitting in my basement from a previous parts car I had.. back when i had my accident a year ago *cough* i know... they were BRAND new tires though!! Soo.. total.. for the wheels.. and putting on the tires and getting them balanced.. and the lug nuts... $120! I am so thankful !!
  12. holy crap.. that's die cast?!?! soo cool!
  13. Hey!! Just wanted to show everyone my new polished Iron Cross wheel thanks to sblake01 I'm soo happy!! I think they look damn good on my car!! What do you guys think??
  14. yeh. that's what was crossing through my mind... well if i get more fuel.. i need more air.. .. i'll just wait till i can afford a turbo.. then do it all at once
  15. Hey guys... I am slowly building up my parts for a kick arse turbo conversion... my latest bunch of parts i just purchased was a set of low impedance 440cc injectors from a Toyota Supra Turbo.. Now i still have a LONG way to go, and alot of parts to get untill my conversion is complete.. but untill then.... if I hook up those 440cc injectors and a new fuel rail.. will I be looking at any performance gains? I have a stock N47 engine.. with just intake and exhuast... But i figured.. ehh.. why not give it a try... maybe I can use these now... If i am not looking at any performance gains with pluggin the injectors straight in.. how can I achieve some performance gains?
  16. ... no it doesn't use that much energy... stock alternator.. and same battery.. works fine
  17. Finally put it on my car!! yess!! Ontop of the thumbnails.. i'll throw in some bigger pics Before: After: Before: After:
  18. looks good!! Looks alot like Panasports... and a heck of alot cheaper!
  19. i installed it for kicks... i mean.. WHY NOT?? Was under $200... is functional... entertains my friends on trips.. and me when I'm waiting for someone to pick up.... good for girls on a warm summer night and your bored.... ehh.. i figured it would be interesting.. and it is..
  20. ohh i have it wired to work anytime.. anywhere... with full surround sound on four 4" Alpine speakers and 3 10" MTX subs... sounds like a movie theather to me.. just more boomy bass
  21. i used a Pyle DVD player... no skipping.. as i know of... but I only watch it when parked.. when I have a girl in me car.. My friends have watched it when moving.. works fine .. no skipping.. but i need to get a higher quality monitor.. but then again.. i NEVER use it! ever.. kinda a waste.. but cool
  22. aircraft stripper is a really powerful chemical available at your local auto store, or Wal-Mart, which basically strips anything and everything off of metal... used for removing paint from cars and stuff. But be very careful! it ate through 2 layers of rubber gloves, and disintigrated a plastic brush I had... very strong stuff... but does miracles! I used Dupli-Color Textured Metallic coating.. also available at nearly all auto stores
  23. not anymore!! grr.. after 2 1/2 years of loyal service and never being late.. or missing a day.. i get the pooper... no more job! Oh well... still need to find a new job.. but then again.. i'm a poor 18 year old college student :sleepy:
  24. I used Dupli-Color "Textured Metallic coating" I got it at AutoZone.. but is available at Wal-Mart... Checker, Pep Boys, etc.
  25. I'm so proud of this valve cover... hehe spent hours and hours on it.. I used aircraft stripper and a toothbrush on the inside of the valve cover.. and it looks spotless... just in case any flakes of hardened oil and varnish breaks off and damages my baby!!
