  1. Don't forget! This will be inaccurate... What effects the accuracy and precision? -Weather (Is it hot or cold?) -Altitude (How high up are you located?) -Humidity (How much moisture is in the air?) -Tires (What kind of tires are you running?) -Transmission (Are you running an automatic or standard? 4spd 5spd?) -Rear end (what kinda of rear end are you running? 3.5, 3.9,4.11?) -Road conditions (New concrete? Asphualt? Old?) -Wind conditions (Is it windy? Cross wind? TailWind? Head wind?) These can lead to dramatic results ranging from .1 seconds to 3 seconds... like up here in Colorado... 3,000 feet above sea level.
  2. ... sorry... i just thought the part you mentioned was something different since you called it something else...
  3. Early 4-speeds like mentioned earlier.. have the same 1-4 gears and Reverse as the Early 5-speed transmission. However, the later 5-speed transmissions in the ZX's have a wider gear box in all gears from 1-5 and reverse.... In my opinion with the stock rear end in a 240Z... the Late 5-speed is good.. and the early... just has quicker shifting (MPH wise)
  4. My question was.. what does it do? Also is there a rubber seal inbetween the Vacuum Water **** and the mounting plate?
  5. oh yeh.. ever see the pictures of my ex girlfriend crashing into me on purpose cuz she thought I had another girl in my car? And she was on Cocaine.... ( and she is only 17! Im 17 too! but no drugs for me )

  9. After my leaking problem of antifreeze all over my passenger floor.. I found something interesting.... after 4 hours of removal and finding a good place to take a picture... here is the complete Heater **** and Vacuum Water **** assembly along with the hoses which go to the heater core.. and out the firewall. However, I bought a new heatercock.. since it was leaking.. but somethign else is too.. can anyone help me out?? In the picture.. it's along the top.. goldish and looks like a UFO disk thinggy. It is a vacuum and has a diaphram in it.. and connects to the heater/cool controls. What does it do? Vacuum Water ****... help! my car is taken apart!@

aviation fuel is CHEAP.. and would never be a waste of money. For some reason.. the way they process it is crappier than automtotive fuel... i think because of the high altitudes and thin air the airplanes fly in. But either way when an airplane fuels up.. they need LOTS of fuel... and it's cheaper for an unknown reason. I only fear.. carbon build up... or crap built up inside the engine and exhuast pipe. But.. it's good fuel... none the less

  17. datto_240z SWEET photoshop! Damn i tried and tried using MS paint.. .. and they came out looking like crap! Beautiful work! I like the way they look on my car.. I am gonna try polighing them up see how they look, then otherwise.. paint em. But my car is still in the shop unfortuantly. It's ALL painted and pretty and fixed up again, I just need side markers and the front bumper. I bought a front bumper from eBay and it should be in the mail today.. Friday.... But I doo need a passenger bumper end cap the rubber one.. for a '77-'78 280Z... anyone have one???
  18. BTW aRCH-Z.. I LOVE YOUR CAR!!! What kinda stering wheel do you have in there and the shift knob? That is the sexiest interior.. I have ever seen! I want I want... How much did that run ya?
  19. No.. Fortunatly they won't fit! And even if you modify them to fit... um... they wouldn't look good AT ALL in my opinion and would mess up the lines on the S30 chassis.
  20. If you can't run the stock ECU..... SDS and MegaSquirt sell excellent stand alone fuel management systems... which when tuned right... WILL KICK SOME arse! Cuong... Would you be able to PM me on a good estimate on what this conversion would cost just about? I am really interested in an RB swap, however, I have heard swaps ranging from $7,000 to $13,000. So if you would be able to let me know, I would be greatful! Thanks
  21. DAMN! Those look GOOOOD sblake01! I know I like the wheels alot... but I wanted to see everyone's opinion on what color they should be? I was debating between: Polished Black in the Iron Cross GunMetal in the Iron Cross
  22. I am in a debate right now... I have a set of Western Hurricane Wheels on my car right now.. however.. when I bought my parts car for my repairs on my wrecked 280Z... there were some extra Iron Cross wheels sitting in the back of the 240Z. So... does anyone like the style of the Iron Cross wheels? Especially on an classic S30 Z? Here is what they look like on a 240Z.... (sorry it's a rally car picture... but has the wheels)

I don't care about the condition of the TURBO since I will replace it, however, I would like a good engine that will be used for about a 300HP setup. Running preferably, but will take anthing. If you are around or located in Colorado please let me know, as I fiinally have some money to spend. Please PM me or send me an e-mail which can be found in my profile.. or respond here Thanks soo much, PrOxLaMuS©

Z32 seats in a S30 chassis or any 240Z 260Z or 280Z will FIT. However, they are an extremly TIGHT and Snug fit. Depending on how you mount them, they will touch or rub the interior panels by the rear quarter window. Also they are tall.. so you may hit the ceiling. They fit.. but not much room.
