  1. Yeah me too thanks for the help guys
  2. It runs again guys thanks for the insight. I'm thinking the jump may have just fried the battery. I'm going to be double checking everything though making sure everything is working fine
  3. 7tooz oh ok doesn't sound to bad I'll look into it as well
  4. Thanks Steve I'll pick up a new battery tonight I'll get back to you with the readings.
  5. OK got ya Dave thanks I'll keep troubleshooting. 7tooz would it plug right in or would I have to splice some wires?
  6. OK Dave sorry I'm getting a bit confused so if I disconnect the main lead to the alternator. Should I then jump the green and black fusible links or are you referring to some other ones?
  7. OK thanks Dave. So do you think I may have fried my ammeter since I wasn't getting any reading for the fuses in the fuse box?
  8. I was checking the reading with a test light with a voltmeter so I had it hooked up to a body ground and was just checking for power at the fusible link on both ends OK thanks Dave I'll try with a digital multimeter tonight.
  9. Yeah my battery is measuring at 10.3v I'll try to charge it today. The green fusible link for the ignition is also reading 10.3 on both sides. Thanks for the reference I checked the fuses again looks like I'm not getting any reading at the ampmeter fuses or the ignition interlock 2 fuses. Would those be signs of a bad ammeter?
  10. OK thanks guys I checked the fusible link I'm getting a 10.3v reading. Checked the fuse box in the right kick panel I'm getting no reading for ignition and light. I was getting 10.3v at the starter and alternator power connector. Any I ideas what I should check next?
  11. OK thanks patcon I'll give them a check when I get home
  12. Do you mean a voltmeter? Should I be getting a battery reading at the black fusible link for the battery?
  13. Hey guys I have a early 260z . I jumped the battery backwards now I have no power anywhere. I took a look at the fuse box on the right side kick panel nothing looks melted. Also took a look at the black fusible link for the battery it doesn't look like it melted as well. You think there might be a tear that is not visible. Any insight would be greatly appreciated
