Jeff- Saw that posting , that's what made me ask - Will have to take a look in my ZX repair manual which is currently with my car at the shop.

Have noticed some posts relative to a Stereo Amplifier located under the front seat(Driver/passenger side???) - does anyone have any more info on this???Are we talking about the radio/cassette itself in the dash??? Any info would be helpful. Thanks

Joined not to long ago with my 1980 280zx 10th Anniversary and needed a few things - Posted a request on the forum and within a day I had a response . Want to thank member "JSM" for his help and kindness - Its a great site for the Z lover. Happy New Years & Thanks Horst

Really don't need parts for mine other than little odds and ends i.e. manual(which you kindly sent) and the cassette tape - Everything works in the car(tape player has its moments), no rust anywhere also interior is like new. The car is garage keep, covered with less than 20th miles - I have a Datsun/Nissan mechanic who has over 20 years of experience with Nissan and he does service on it -other than normal wear and setting in the garage no problems, fluids , brakes are being changed now, Car will go into the garage get covered, battery on a tender and tucked away for the winter. Oh I did have the muffler and pipes changed with stock parts. The car is totally stock with only the louvers added on the rear hatch. If ever you decide to parts the car let me know as I could possibly use the radio/cassette deck for parts.

Thanks will let you know when it arrives. I had the same problem with my radio, thought it was the fuse in the fuse box but it wasent- then found out that the radio had its own fuse in the radio changed it and it worked. Does your cassette player work ? it is separate to the radio but when repairing it both have to come out as they are connected.

Looking for the cassette tape that came with the 1980 280zx 10 Anniversary model, would accept a copy of the tape - the tape provided the owner with info relative to the 10th Anniversary model and songs from the 80,s. Also could use a Owners manual for the 10th Anniversary ZX. Thanks in advance Horst

Jeff - contacted Borini63, he replied that all was gone even the Z shell,, - By the way do you still have the cassette deck? if so does it work? The one in my Z has its moments , will have to have it looked at . Have a Great New Year Horst

Jeff - I'm keeping the car, its all stock with only 20 thousand miles -I'm trying to find the odds and ends that make it complete - Have everything ,cover,original firestone wingfoot tires ,etc - its my baby. That's really kind of you and rest assured its staying with the car - But I would be happy to pay you for it -Yes, its the original tape that came with the car, I do have the plastic tape holder but over the years the tape disappeared. Wonder if anyone can help me find the cassette that came with the 1980 10 Anniversary 280zx, I have the cassette holder but the actual cassette went missing. I also could use the original owners manual for this car(1980 10th Anniversary 280zx) as the one I have someone removed the 10th Anniversary emblem from the front cover. I have all the documents i.e window sticker, warranty books ,repair manual, original tires etc and I would really like to find the items noted above. Thanks in advance for your help.
