[emoji23][emoji23] so freaking funny! After 25 years she's used to my "OSD"my wife is a Clinical psychologist .....so yes I've been diagnosed [emoji19]. I don't know how to do thing half arse and I don't have the skill to restore the cars myself so I have a tendency to buy things that cost more $ so I don't have to . You should see my current fly-fishing inventory.... I think I could open my own shop [emoji23][emoji23] pretty sure I can fish the rest of my life without needing to buy any gear what's so ever. 73 240 aquired!
Ya definitely, the PO sounds like a straight shooter but I haven't actually seen the car in person. I'm flying into Redmond on Friday, the PO even said he was concerned about me making the drive back because the radiator had small leak so today he dropped it off to have it fixed. To be honest I'm not sure yet , I'd definitely like to keep both not sure my wife would be happy. [emoji6] "If" I keep both then I'll be putting the original 280z bumpers back on to keep them different. I definitely am thinking about changing the wheels...17" rims are a little big I think but the PO has told me they don't rub and that the wheel company had the lug pattern cut specifically for him. Now as far as the tail light surrounds I'm with you 100%! Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

Value question on a 100k all original 78 280z
Well considering I've been in the automotive industry for over 25 years I should have found the imperfection[emoji45] clearly my fault. I guess I let my guard down when I meant the PO. The repaired area was clearly done sometime after being sold new and wasn't done very well. No new car dealer would have ever accepted this kind of substandard repair on any new vehicle period! I may have been out of line calling the PO a lier, the car may have been driven by her son and damaged at some point, he wasn't allowed to drive the car and may have snuck the car out. Value question on a 100k all original 78 280z
Well I guess even little old ladies can be liers..... I found that the rear driver's side quarter panel had been painted, why I'm not sure as of yet but it looks like there was a repair of some sort! I found the damage when I happened to use airline stripper to remove the adhesive residue left behind from side molding [emoji36][emoji36] Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk

yup I'm one of those guys .....but these little guys have small batteries as it is however I would consider dropping in a 925T odyssey battery, put one in my 911 and wow what a difference from the previous 47lb battery I took out [emoji50] Sent from my XT1650 using Tapatalk
