So far we have 36 registrations, this is the most I have seen a week before the event. Our limit if 50, but we probably won't turn anyone if we go a few over. According to some sources, we may have enough registered to already pay for the track, so there are more than 36. Bring your check and registration to the track with you and enjoy a lot of track time.
  2. Do you have a pic along the top of bumper and bumper end for comparison? Looks alot better.
  3. This is good to know. I knew there would be an interference problem at least in your two cases. Others don't seem to have the problem of popping out of gear. The problem is that the bottom portion of the shift lever below the pivot is around 5/16"(not certain off hand, I have pics in my gallery showing differences) longer than the lever from a 5 spd. Using the 4 spd lever in a 5 spd transmission makes the marks you show and it would interfere with full engagement. I'm glad you found the problem and the fix.
  4. If it's the 2+2 in your other thread, then that car should have the 240mm flywheel. 2 seaters had the 225mm flywheel. Make sure you match whatever flywheel you use. The PP and bearing collar are different between the two.

A floor jack comes in handy R&Ring the gas tank. Not a big hassle.
  6. The way the bumper end looks, the bumper may have been tweaked to the left or not aligned properly. What does the other end look like?

I am no expert. But I did drive by a holiday inn express 20 yrs ago on my way to a super 8. The best thing to have is a air dryer mounted away from the compressor allowing the air to cool a little before going through the dryer. One place I worked for had it placed right at the compressor and we still got a little bit of water, but not near as much when the dryer broke down. My current job doesn't like to spend money and had an auxiliary tank to take care of the machines and then a direct line to the hand tools and blow off lines. It did have one water catch, but had to empty it on the hour every hour. I didn't want to climb up a 12' ladder every time I wanted to drain the water so I reconfigured the supply lines. I plumbed(air hose) to the auxiliary tank directly from the compressor. Then fed everything from the auxiliary to feed the machinery and every thing else. The auxiliary tank basically work as the air dryer condensing the water at the bottom of the tank. Not the right way to it by any means, but I had to work with what I had on the very cheap. There was still water, but it didn't gat past the water trap like it did before. Now I only drain the water once a week at the trap. The compressor and auxiliary tanks get drained every other day. BTW all the lines in the shop were plastic.

Great news for the drivers who are attending our track event. BTW, it is not racing. It is more a HPDE. I am pleased to announce that Boulder Nissan (BN) will be the ZCCC track event sponsor. This collaboration with Boulder Nissan will only be for ZCCC track events, limited track related ads, articles, and will not infringe on our general club sponsor, Tynan's Nissan. For the last month I have been working with Jason Purdum owner of BN and asked him for ideas on how to lower our expenses and up our car count. Some ideas involved other dealerships, other than our sponsor. Jason gave it some thought and had another totally unexpected idea that would help the club with the track events and help us attract more cars and especially more Nissans owners. Event participants, drivers, usually work corners, nothing was wrong with this format and it was fun talking in a small group while others were on the track. With BN event sponsorship, the drivers will no longer have to work corners for the June 4th track event and hopefully future track events with Boulder Nissan’s sponsor relationship. This sponsorship will allow more track time for all driving participants and hopefully bring in more participants out to our club track events. As there is no corner working involved. I would like to thank Jason and Boulder Nissan for their generosity and enthusiasm for track events and especially in helping the ZCCC in what we hope is a great working partnership for our track events. 18. I have done extensive research and came to the conclusion that conedodger has posted in the boob thread 14.7%. Funny, I thought it would have been higher. Nice job with the car.

You should also use a carpet dash mat to disperse the heat while just driving around and parking in the sun. It's not a question of if it will crack with all the protectants out there, but when. I have an un cracked dash ready to go in my 240 and will use a dash mat all the time.
